Nice, kinda looks a little like mine

Nice, it's the next and last handgun on my list, I plan to use it for my woods/hunting handgun with a 4.5' KKM barrel. It looks like the Pearce grip extension will be a requirement for my hands and even the x-grip for the 15-round mags to use as well.

I have caliber consolidated too, I have three Glock 17's and that's it for pistols. The idea is that the rest of my non-gun enthusiast family members will be able to pick one up if necessary and have absolute familiarity with them, same ammo and mags, no confusion. However, I have a strong desire for a Browning Hi-Power, Ruger SR1911 and a 5.5" bbl Ruger Vaquero in .45 Colt, so there goes that......

Did you get to fly the Sherpas from Balad? Or did you fly straight into Baghdad? I was at Balad as a contractor with Dyncorp for 16 months. The Sherpa rides will get you pulling seat canvas out of your crack when you de-plane, low, slow and skimming treetops.

Well, I'm not a born & raised Memphian, my wife is though. We moved here in 2003, got here less than a week after hurrican Elvis blew through and power was still out in alot of areas. One of the members here turned me on to this site, he bought a couple firearms from me I posted on the other sites I frequent mostly, THR and TFL. I've been through a boatload of firearms in my life and now have my collection whittled down to eight. M1 Garand Scoped M1A SLR-95 Marlin 60 Remington 870 Glock 23 Glock 21 S&W Model 10 I have gained a pretty good interest in the 6.8spc cartridge, I have no firearms in that caliber, but I'd like to. I have made the trip to the Gun Mecca at Knob Creek, KY and I recommend it to anyone who likes guns to seriously check it out, you'll never forget it......it's absolutely amazing. I am a life-member of the NRA and of the MSSA range, I believe this is my third year there, I usually use the pistol or 100yd rifle range.
