  1. I am use AVG at work (two XP & two Win200 desktops) and at home (Three Vista laptops) and did not have any problems. I am using the "paid" versions though since they are used commercially, I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not. I switched years ago from Trend Micro to AVG and haven't ever had any problems. I used McAfee for many years on my home computers when Comcast offered it free however when they switched early this year to Norton, I added more seats to my license for the home machines.
  2. Yup, a guy named quik comes to mind....
  3. Hate to say it but I'm glad O won instead of Hildebeest. I believe she's much more cunning and would have been much much more dangerous.
  4. Nice trick OS, learned something new
  5. I always ASSUMED that is was a criminal offense to be in possession of stolen property. Guess we all know what ASS-U-ME-ing gets ya...... Oh yeah, Sorry to hear about your theft Ts.smith.
  6. According to The Glock FAQ: glock_faq_serial_numbers the US at the end indicates it was imported into the US and I read somewhere that the last GLOCK pistol imported to Smyrna using the US ending serial number was in in the early 2000's.
  7. LOL, I'd have lost it right then. As others have stated, you can't blame the Dispatcher or police as all they hear is "Man with a gun". What would have been even funnier if you'd have said something like, "Don't worry ma'am, I'm leagally carrying as well and I will be sure shoot back if he comes in and shoots up the place".
  8. Good one, I'll have to remember that one.
  9. There you have it folks, the TGO 10 Commandments of "which gun/caliber should I choose".......
  10. Something about shooting 30 rounds rapidly through my AR really gets the blood going.... Other than that the 1911 followed by 686 definitely makes for some fun.
  11. I'll some it up this way... VY SUX
  12. Thanks Chuck. As a family that spends thousands at Walgreen's each year, I'd hate to have to choose Kroger/Publix as my sole source for OTC's, prescriptions, candy etc.
  13. Count me in for a couple as well.

    H&K pistols

Another big fan here. Carried a USPc .40 predominately since 2002. Never had even one hickup and have not been easy on it by any means.
  17. This shouldn't surprise anyone? I will start emailing in the morning.

    Walther PK 380

No, the PK380 is smaller than the P99, more in line with the P22.

    Walther PK 380

My Business partner bought one and is having a hard time finding a holster that he likes for it. So far, he has settled for an Uncle Mikes. I really like the feel of the gun, be nice if they came out with it in a 9mm as I have enough .380 's as it is.

    New Sig P290

Can't wait to see one. I've been looking at the Kahrs and Taurus for a small 9mm, this might just be this ticket.
  21. Wait till you try sporting clays, they are the bomb!
  22. I love what BlingMore wrote: "I wouldnt be working at no bar that allows guns. With unemploment as bad as it is, this means that folks need to take on dangrous jobs just to feed they kids." Wonder how safe they hood is....
  23. I vote Impingment. Cheap and proven to be reliable, especially in the context you plan to use it. Use the extra $ you would have spent for accessories.

    a dove gun.

I would also suggests some various chokes. Full for when the birds are flying high and Modified for everything else. If they are all over the place, I have put a full on one barrel and Modified or maybe Improved Cylinder on the other. I've had the most luck with Full chokes on both barrels.
  25. Yes. I have simply become so comfortable carrying a gun, I now feel naked without one. Now sometimes I may only have my LCP on like when I'm trimming the yard, but I'm still packing. Maybe I'm paranoid.
