  1. Agreed. The oldest pistol in my collection is a PT92 from around '91. Liked it so much it was the only one I kept when I sold my collection down to that sole pistol. Though I do not have an exact round count, I would say it has easily over 10,000 rounds. For years heard the horror stories and pretty much figured I was only hearing about the worst cases, then I experienced Taurus's crappy customer service for myself. (see post #72 at //http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/handguns/16946-taurus-warranty-stinks-8.html#post329778 )
  2. Worts part for me too and I DID in fact launch one, over the fence and into the grass. Delayed my build a couple days.......:-\
  3. Good news! I hope they are finally getting things straightened out down there.

    Walther P22

I run the Federal Bulk pack through mine without any problems. The Remington bulk packs have caused ftf's not only in my P22 but my Thomson Center .22 rifle as well. Even id you have to run CCI mini mags, still pretty cheap at around $7 a box

    New Shotgun

Always like a coach gun, hard to hit clays wth them though. C'mon Chief, how 'bout some pic's?
  6. Sorry to hear about your grandfather BUT, Awesome revolver! Because of the history of this gun, consider it priceless and hand it down to your heirs.
  7. Almost edc my .45 without any rusting problems. I too have read of the issue and Phillip at Goodlettsville Gun shop also told me he had seen several come through. I bought one anyway, no regrets.

    If you had...

I'd go the Colt Commander route however this gun is not for everyone. It's just kind of where I'm at right now.
  9. Since ILP seems to be extremely knowledgeable on this firearm, I'd like to piggy back this thread.... I Have a friend who uses one and the question has come up "Will the Security Six take +P ammo?". He was told not to use it however my thoughts were it'd be fine for a self defense scenario. Your thoughts?
  10. I too have found their prices fare with cash discounts. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend giving them a try.
  11. Yeah but those damn Japs were resilient. LA residence are Gang Bangers, yuppies and illegials...They'll all just run.
  12. Patience, it will come.......

    SIG Pro 2022

All good to know. I have often wondered why the are so inexpensive. I guess I just assumed it was due to the polymer frame.
  14. Looks like a really nice pistol to me however I don't know if I'd spend $700+/- on a compact 9mm.

    My Mistake

I'm with Dave on this one, don't spend another dime. You are only out $300 and it will be more than $300 worth of time and hassle to get it back correctly. Chalk it up to lesson learned. Sorry dude!
  16. My Thoughts exactly! I have been anxiously waiting for the P290 to hit the shelves however maybe I won't have to wait for a compact 9 now (Kel Tek and Kahr are out for me for various reasons).

    New Sig P290

    He's got your number J.
  18. Impressive. My G34 has had several fte's..........................when using rat shot. Other than that I can't ever recall having a problem in well over 1k rounds.
  19. I like mine as well and it carries great in my Minotaur.
  20. Sound likes a load of fun, paint ball with real guns. Great training!

    PMR 30

Cool, thanks for the report. Shooting a 22 Mag pistol sounds like an absolute blast! What are these things going for?
  22. Congratulaions and as others have said, Thank you.
  23. Wonder what percentage of illegal drugs could be traced back through Mexico..........
