  1. Well at least the cops did go about shooting the dog. It is pretty scary that the tazer didn't work though .
  2. ONE Week today?
  3. It is pretty much odorless.

    New toy

Very nice. An old friend had this exact model and I've shot many rounds trough it. Enjoy it!
  5. Undertsood, sorry I let the cat out of the bag......

    Beretta PX4

I have a PX4 that I have put at least 500 rounds through it without a problem and I bought it used. One thing about the box, they are pretty cheap however Beretta should indeed replace it. Lesson learned-Don't send pistols back in their original box . I'd stay on them until they make it right.
  7. What the heck are you smoking my friend? Was there in October, showed up around 1:00 and had no wait. May have been 5 others on the rifle range, few on the pistol. Now I must admit that was the last time I've been so maybe things have changed. +1. I go on Fridays 99% of the time. Saturdays are a definite no no, even seen a line on Sundays right at opening.
  8. Shooters never lie.
  9. +1. When I usually go it is on Friday. An excuse to take off a little early and there is never a wait for any of the ranges.
  10. I've always wanted a threesome..... Seriously though, very nice photography. The lighting is the key.
  11. You should definitely form your own opinion. I will warn you however it does get crowded on the weekends.
  12. Congrats! What model did you get? As far as the holster there should be a screw that will loosen up the hold a bit. I've found though tighter is better.....
  13. In my opinion, there isn't any reason to think that we won't have a repeat of last year.

    Handgun registration

Don't worry about it, the gun is now yours and as long as you can legally own it, you are not breaking any laws. If you got a receipt, I'd hang on to it and if not, just make a note of when and where you bought it. That's it.
  15. Yeah, kind of like the guy that managed to shoot himself in the gut with a .380 a couple of years ago or the "gangsta's" trying to shoot gangsta style.... They deserve to be micro managed for sure.
  16. I have never seen a USP like you describe. You are right on though about the Beretta, it cannot be carried cocked and locked as the decocker is the safety.
  17. Yeah, I'll bet Phillip pays a little less for ammo than we do so he wouldn't quite understand.....
  18. I can definately understand and respect that. They are ony a few miles or so from my house however I haven't been there in months.
  19. I've never seen a USP that looks like that. Sure that is a USP? Here is a link to the manual, see page 6. http://www.hk-usa.com/-images/shared/USP_Operators_Manual_060809.pdf
  20. Sounds like Jenny. She has "yelled" at me if that is what you call it a time or two but no big deal. I understand your embarrassment if that is what it is but they really aren't that bad. Now that you know the rules (intimately I might add), you shouldn't get yelled at anymore. Remember, it is run by a State Agency and Safety is their top priority, even if it is a bit redundant. The RSO's are also volunteer which means they are not getting paid. It is definitely NOT the worst Handgun range in TN.
  21. MY Compact is Decocker=Lever down then retuns to neutral, Safety= Lever up where it stays.
  22. I have to agree with italia. I have a USP Compact and the decocker is a non issue. In fact, I think it is a must have feature since mine has the "bobbed" hammer. You could still carry cocked and locked and the decocker and safety lever are one in the same.
  23. I'd call H&K customer Service and ask. (706) 568-1906 ext. 235. Talking about great customer service, these guys are tops. They even have a Customer Service presence on the H&K forum HK USA Forums • Index page
