  1. Strategic said it would be around July when they start accepting more applications. They need to expand it a little more before they do. I think he does not want it to get too crowded, which is understandable. It's probably the best range around.
  2. If you really want to get as accurate as you can. Just as you would weigh bullet before hand loading, weigh the pellets. Makes a difference when you are shooting them 50 yards or more.
  3. Crossman Premier is a good and accurate pellet.
  4. Hot water, Lemishine, Stainless tumble for 45. I use VERY little of it. Enough to just cover the tip of a screwdriver.   Blow w/ compressed air and done.
  5.   Yes but you have to be a member, not open range.
  6.   Was it a single Humbucker?
  7. Reminds me of Chevy Chase and John Candy at Wally World.
  8. The China copies look surprisingly real if you don't know what to look for.
  9. There is no downside to wet tumbling, other than you will want to prep more brass!  :)
  10. http://editorial.autos.msn.com/blogs/post--two-corvettes-pulled-from-corvette-museum-sinkhole-one-manages-to-start?icid=autos_5375
  11. 4th of July! :)
  12. Either STE, MGSC or Terry Walden's for long range .22.   Rockcastle and STE for mid range to 1,000.
  13. Sounds legit. I know people that have done that same shot at 300 yards w/ pistol. Got to have a good handle on your drop and hold over.   However, you would need a really calm day to do it. We shoot long distance .22 rifle often and at 500, even 10 MPH wind will push you 8-10ft off target.   I'm also one of those weirdo's that weighs .22 rounds!   :)
  14.   Yes, I can see they could get away with that stuff. They would not get into my safe, however in 5 min. I know someone will come along and say yes, but no. You would have to see where it is.   I still think alarms are a good idea.
  15. You never said for sure this was coming from the front or rear end for sure? There are a plethora of things that can make vibrations.   That should be an 8.8", same as Mustang and many other trucks. That's an extremely plentiful rear end. So if you do have a problem w/ carrier, personally, I would get a complete rear and swap. Find a low mileage truck that been wrecked. That's what I would do (if it needs replacing).
  16.   Same here. You can't move a single door/window in my house without it sounding like there is a squad car in the living room.   I've had the sheriff here is less than 5 min when I've set it off.
  17. YES!    Almost time to get the Hot Rod out.
  18. Every time this topic comes up, I just have to post this! :) My M44 indoors.
  19.   'Aint just you!
  20. Should have been called the Family Feud match. :) Was pretty neat. There was 6 Jr's shooting this time and I'm sure great family time spent for those that had kids there. I had to post some pics. Congrats to Alleycat 72, took 3rd in F Open. His daughter 1st in Jr. F Open. My son took 1st in Jr. F/TR. Started off pretty chilly in the AM but warmed up nicely in the afternoon. Not sure what happened to that 5-7 MPH wind the Weather Channel had predicted?
  21. Too strong solution of Sodium Hydroxide will eat aluminum, yes.   I tumble my baffles in walnut media. Works well.
  22.   Now that is funny!  :)
  23. My question is, how long I can resist the temptation to build one?   Probably this weekend!  :)
  24. LC IMO also requires more prep time as well to get them consistent.   I've done the same thing w/ a matrix of LC, Win, Hornday, Lapua etc.. I then measure the grains of water each will hold. It really illustrates how important case volume and velocity is.
  25.   Lost River cave is closer. Freaks me out a bit now to think I was in it.
