  1. Reply from TWRA: "Unfortunately, your problem is a common one and without knowing who is trespassing, it is hard to do anything about. You may want to contact your local wildlife officer, if you suspect someone is hunting on your property without permission. "
  2. I can use a sign like that!
  3. My 11 year old son said the same thing!!!
  4. Ditto! I have been thinking about a "welcome to the neighborhood" shoot w/ some freinds and a few lbs of tannerite on "MY" property so everyone is freakin clear where I stand!
  5. No buildings, just fields and timber.
  6. The biggern concern is what kind of A-hole I'm dealing with that would have such disregard for laws and come onto "MY" property and do that. I walk around there with my kids. I had my .45 strapped to me today and sure as hell won't go out there again without one.
  7. This stand was baited as well.
  8. Update on this: What is the matter with people? My buddy and I put up a dozen or more "Posted" signs, no hunting/trespassing. My kids and I went out there today and the sign that was on the tree where the stand was, was taken down and tore in half. Not only did they ignore all the signs up to that point, they have a clear disregard for private property. I was pissed! Makes me feel like I'm trespassing on my own proprerty. I may have an idea of who/where they are coming from.
  9. Come to think of it, this Chicago ban does not prohibit me from carrying my 18.5" Mossberg 12 ga in the trunk!
  10. Sounds like I'm not even going to chance it. I will have my kids with me and will be in a company vehicle. I'm helping my elderly father move from his house and need to be there on time without issues. Also, last thing I need is to be stopped in a company vehicle up there and have to explain that to my mgt. I still hate Chicago...........
  11. Where at? I spent 37 years there and have not looked back.
  12. I've shot 3,000+ rounds from my Beretta M-9 and it jammed only once. And that's only because I used some cheap crap Russian ammo I got for free from my brother in law. I'm with some of the others, a good gun does not need a break in period and should shoot right out of the box without problems.
  13. Next day, bubble wrap, UPS evelopes are nice. I'm just saying!
  14. It's a pretty cool feeling. My oldest shot my AR for the 1st time a few weeks ago. I was really amazed that he wanted to shoot it as much as he did. He probably put 20+ rounds through it. https://home.comcast.net/~ericdouthitt/DSCN6129.MOV
  15. Good info.
  16. Not sure why smileys are on there?
  17. What is the latest with Chicago and the handgun ban within city limits? I know TN does not have a reciprocity agreement with IL. And Chicago specifically is having legal battles regarding the ban. <!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o ="">></o>> My question is: I’m traveling up that way through Chicago (probably more than once) in the next few months. Is it even legal to carry my weapon in the trunk through this city? <!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o ="">></o>> Thanks.
  18. Welcome.
  19. Bushmaster model XM15-E25 here also.
  20. My oldest son and I watched. Bunch of great episodes!
  21. Thanks, that's the info I was looking for!
  22. Have you actually used the 1/2 lb targets?
  23. I have watched many, many videos and received the DVD with my shipment. Just curious how much "attention" the 1/2 lb targets will create????
  24. Looking for personal experience here. Who here has used it and how loud are the 1/2 lb targets? Have you used the 1 lb targets? How much land did you do this on in relation to homes neaby etc. Just trying to get an idea of how loud these things are before we go try them. Thanks in advance.
  25. How often you have to change oil on a goat?
