  1. Put me down for Zeppelin 1st as well. Duane and Dicky right after that or tie depending on my mood.
  2. Nitric or HF acid is far worse!!!
  3. I used to sell to UAW plants up north. None of the above surprises me!
  4. For a cheap gun, the Bersa Thunder 45, Ultra Compact Pro is nice. I like metal guns and it seems very well built for the money.
  5. Awesome! I remember it like it was yesterday. My oldest son was born 1 day before my B-day. That was almost 12 years ago. Now three three of us go shooting together.
  6. I agree w/ above comments. However, I offer another opinion. Some I would leave alone for potential re-sale. An M38, M44, SA etc, no question, leave alone. However, a standard old Russian Mosin, if it's something you plan to keep, no harm in refinishing. It may make it more enjoyable for you. I have a number of Mosins and left some and refinished some. One looked like such a POS, it had to be re-done. Now, it's one of my must shoot guns everytime I hit the range.

    .22lr Pistol?

I have the Ruger MK III and it's great. After 5,000 rounds, its jammed maybe 5 times and that was at first. With some break in, I have not had a problem in a long time. Just bought a Taurus stainless, 4" revolver. Now it's awesome. I had a problem initially, which is good for a separate topic. In short, Taurus customer service was amazing, quite different from what I had heard.
  8. I have seen people do that w/ Beretta's with the exposed barrel. Looks very cool on a 92FS.
  9. Welcome.
  10. How I wish somebody in Nashville would open a new rifle range!
  11. Had it jam REAL bad once. Case was way out of spec for size.
  12. Ditto on the directional, otherwise not a problem. It's recommended to rotate side-side on racing tires etc. to compensate for wear, it will be fine. I rotate front to back and side to side on all my cars if they are not directional tread or different size. No way the alignment is going to be perfect on all 4 corners.
  13. Last word is official opening is Sat.
  14. I was not comparing it to eating on the "Wharf", although I have been there many times. I travel on biz and dined all over the US. Outpost is near a customer of mine, so I stop. Not often you can shop for guns/gear and grab lunch in the same place. That's all...............
  15. I stop and have lunch there about once a month. The addition looks to be nice once they get it done. I asked about it and they said it was behind schedule a bit.
  16. Greetings! If the track is where I think, I've been a buck fifty+ on that track.
  17. The bayo applied to all of them. However, I like sighting mine w/o them.
  18. I stopped by the day I got the flyer. I plan to try it Sat. Very close to home for me!
  19. My Dad used to fight w/ the EPA on a daily basis and spent much time in DC regarding chemical emissions. He would always come back in frustration and say; lawyers and politicians run the EPA. He said what they needed was, chemists, engineers, biologists, etc. that actually understand what implications will result from new rules and regs. However, it is a government agency and that would make too much sense…………….
  20. The only area where I can see any merit to this (and I say maybe) is where children are the patients, not the adult. My wife has worked for pediatric hospitals here entire career and said this is standard protocol to ask if they fear children may be at risk/harm. <!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o =""></o><o =""></o>
  21. Or, shoot the Aguila Super Colibri "primer only" rounds. They wont cycle the action. They are pretty loud still in a Ruger pistol but quiet as a pellet gun in a rifle!
  22. Good job! My 11 year old kan kick my *** in Madden.
