Trust me, a box filled with old magazines is the best method. I've used a bunch of methods over the last year at home. A one 1ft square box will last 200 rounds or so before you have to replace it using .22 LR. When done throw it out.

Maybe it's "Cat Scratch Fever".

FWIW, in the last 25 years I have never got a new job by looking for ones that are posted. Consider what you would like to do for a living and where you would enjoy working. Send resumes to those places. Often, a company will hire by word of mouth, networking or timing may be on your side.

A little off topic but a guy I work with is on the state TN Meth task force. He said after they are hooked, life expectancy is 5 years!

I can't tell you how many thousand pellets I've shot off my deck while enjoying a beer or Gin & Tonic! One of those, depends where you live.

The Garand being a semi-auto does not kick like the Mosin. Since it's a .30-06 it's not a lot different but enough he does not want to try yet.

I had an attempted break in (in a nice area when I lived in WI) at 3:15 AM when lying in bed. I saw the guy and called the cops. I had at least 6 squads in the driveway within a few min. I would rather see them over respond than under.

Ditto on that. My experience has been, slick or bias ply tires will flat spot worse than a radial. But yes, after some miles, they should become round again.

Cool. That's one gun my son won't shoot yet. He will shoot the M1 Garand by himself but said he is not ready for the Mosin. I will get him one like you when he is ready.

Have you spent any time there??? If you read my post, I said I spent A LOT of time there, as in every other week on biz for at least 5 years in the early to mid 90's. Not sure about the rest of the state but everyone I met in Minneapolis/St. Paul was a flaming lib.

What do you need to know? I know a guy down the street w/ a very nice one. I'm sure he would let you come to the shop and look at it. He does street rods and such.
