  1. I like to think of myself as an "American". Something I can't say about some of those in DC!
  2. Ditto on that. I shot my M44 indoors once and talk about loud! Was almost more fun to watch than shoot because of the fireball. Here is my BIL shooting below:
  3.   Same here on 90%. You need to bring your own target stand if you plan on shooting 330Y.
  4. Don't know on a 10/22. It won't cycle a Marlin 60. It's very quiet but CCI Quiet is almost as quiet and considerably more accurate. At least in my rifle.
  5. http://www.newser.com/story/160454/4-dead-in-aurora-colorado-after-shooting.html
  6. Ditto on this. I E-mailed it all before I made the trip and brought copies with me.
  7. I like it a lot. I specifically bought a threaded barrel/flash hider model so I could use my supressor. However, it was a PITA to get off! Had to use LOT's of heat and clamp it extremely tight to keep barrel from turning in the vise.   Come to find out later on S&W forums, they have told customers the flash hider was never intended to come off. They use a very high temp adhesive to keep people from taking it off. Why advertise it with a threaded 1/2 x 28 barrel if they dont want you to take it off?   It's fun to shoot and very light.
  8. All I needed was: Carry permit, copy birth cert, member of Garand Collectors card.
  9. Nice rifles.   Curious, how long did you have to wait? I went during the middle of the week, there was maybe 4 customers total there. It appeared the process speed was slow and stop.
  10. Guess we have to disagree. I'm not talking about the person, rather the faith. I think there is a fundamental difference between a religion that says it's OK to lie and one that does not.   But that's just me.  :)
  11. Does the Bible say it's OK to lie?
  12. Regarding that site, think "Onion".
  13.   Except their "faith" says it's OK to lie to non-muslim infidels.   Changes things...........................
  14.   It was DOA when it got there. For now.................
  15. I do have to ask a few questions about below:   1. Would you 1st off even do an interview shortly after a family member had been killed?   2. Would you be laughing and cutting up before the camera rolls?   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMINqFGNr-w
  16.   Million gun owner (unarmed) in DC, yes they might take notice. Armed would be a problem and would not help the cause.
  17. Start here first:   http://www.millerwelds.com/resources/basicMIG/index.htm
  18. Yes it went up to $10. The straw that broke the camels back (which makes you write your DL) was, guys were shooting at large rocks.   For the most part, people there are pretty safe. The walk down past 300 is not too bad in the dry months. When it's wet, it's a PITA. It's the only range I have found around here, however, that lets you shoot Tannerite.

Heard it was G&L. Not sure what the plans are, however?
  21.   Huntertown Arms Gaurdian. Very good can for the price!   * Note and disclaimer. We are shooting downhill more than in looks in video. We are VERY safe when we do this. Never when the neighbors are outside. He is is shooting into a box that is the backstop and contains the bullet ands he does not miss.   The only thing more fun that shooting this supressed is shooting this simulated full auto supressed w/ the Slide Fire!  :)
  22. Got a chance yesterday to try out the supressor on the M&P 15-22 in the backyard.  This is my son doing the shooting. Bolt made more noise than the report.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGwF4wguz3o
  23. No.   Mine are 11 and 14. The 14 year old is a better shot than many adults I know and it very conscientous about saftey (muzzle, chambered, trigger finger etc).   That being said, he's still a kid and the safe is locked. He knows what to do if put in that situation.
  24. I never did use the term, nor does anyone I know. However, the media sure likes it.............
