  1. Ditto on the Crossman Premier. I'm also OCD and weigh my pellets on a power scale. I group them into low/med/high when I shoot them.
  2. I did one w/ him as well. Much upside to a trust, little if any downside.
  3. The .22 ones are fun and a lot louder than you would think!  :)
  4. A motor like yours that's been cared for should be able to tolerate 8 lbs no problem. I did the exact thing you did but went with a Vortech centrifugical (for other reasons). For towing, a screw type like a Magnusun would be a better choice. They make boost right off idle. In either case, they will add a significant amount of torque.   http://www.magnacharger.com/
  5. I saw some Federal bulk .22 for sale at $100. Same box I bought at Walmart last month for $18.00....................
  6.   My TRR-SR .22LR supressed is quieter than my RWS .177!  :)
  7. We shoot air rifles a lot. Shooting a .177 in the wind is kind of like shooting a .308 long distance. If shooting .177, get the heaviest pellet you can and don't be as concerned with the speed. It will be more accurate than the lighter ones. We shoot .177 pellets out to 100 yards surprising accuracy.
  8.   I used PL400 on my deck and worked great. They did not come back.
  9. A couple of us are headed up early Sat. Think it's going to be crowded since it wash washed out last year.
  10. Not in my F'ing lifetime!
  11. I have the HTA Guardian and it's extremely quiet and easy to take apart and clean. Another thumbs up for HTA.
  12. ADT has worked well for us. Local Sheriff gets here in around 5 min. I would recommend door/window sensors in my opinion. Motion sensors only tells you when somebody is already in the house. Dog, motion lights outside etc. help.
  13. Not sure if the current RWS (since they were bought) is the same quality of old. However, if they are, they will last forever. I have an RWS I purchased 28 years ago and it's like new and very accurate.
  14. They were also limiting bullets last time I was there. I wanted 1,000 and all I could get was 250.
  15.   Not really, that's pretty much it.   I know just a thing or two about sales and the market place. :)  I personally sell $14 million dollars of year of products and services (for the last 27 years) and have sat through more sales and marketing training than I care. That being said, every business model we have looked at still indicates it's the buyer. The emotion, yes, may be a factor but it still comes down to the price the customer is willing to pay at that point in time.
  16. The market is what the "buyer" is willing to pay for a product at that point in time.
  17. Thunderbolts are going to do that. Try better ammo.
  18.   Thanks but they are sold out on what I need.
  19. I have left most of mine alone. One I did modify (significantly) and it has surprised me and everyone that has shot it being more accurate than expected. To date, it's held 1.2 MOA out to 400 yards. I personally, think it will do a little better and going to try it next weekend again.
  20.   Where, I have been looking all over for BR2 or Fed 210 and cannot find anywhere.
  21.   All TRR-SR's should be 1/2-28. I have that same gun but in 22LR. Fun with a can!  :)
  22.   Ditto on that. The guy they paired us up with was great. Very helpful and a pleasure to shoot with.
  23. Terry's in Manchester is 330 to the berm. Montgomery Shooting Complex is 400. Those are the farthest public I know in middle TN.   Rock Castle in KY goes out to 1,200 if I recall but you have to be a member, bring your own targets and pretty much need an ATV to set targets.
  24. Was he from MI? If so, I met him. My 14 year old son shot his 1st 1,000 yard match at that event. Had a rough start but once he got sighted, he got all 20 on target last 2 relays. Had some 9's, 10's and X, he shot a best of 162 1-x. Now that he feels more comfortable, we are going to do another one. Very fun! Wish I got to do that when I was 14.
  25. It would appear you are the one who is touchy. I guess I would sugest if you are concerned with getting your weenie stepped on, don't quote people.
