  1. What he said! Glad to see I'm not the only Parrothead on the forum!
  2. Sure did. It was an excellent show at that.
  3. Very true. Just thought I would throw it out there, haha!
  4. True. Sorry bout that. Wish I could change the title now. STILL!
  5. I was listening to Michael Delgiorno just a little bit ago on my drive back from class, and he was talking about a speech that Obama had given that leaves out white middle-aged americans. While I fall into the "young people" category, I still find this very wrong. I can't believe he is our president. Here's some links for you... Washington Examiner
  6. WOW. That's all I can say.
  7. I know exactly what you mean. Listening to some loud banging sounds above the kitchen area of my apartment right now. These are new neighbors, and of course they had to move in right above us. Oh well, last time we had problems with our neighbors, I decided to start cleaning my guns outside. After that, the noise stopped. Hopefully the same will happen again.
  8. So what kind of holster would you guys suggest for a PA-63? I have read that any holster for a Sig p230 should work. Is that right? Anyone have one they don't need?
  9. and piper266 bought it for me as a gift. It is a Fobus paddle holster made for the Bersa 380, so i thought it would work with my FEG PA-63. When I got home to try it out, it didn't fit. Evidently the designs are not as close as I thought they were. What do you guys recommend? Should I return the holster, bring the gun with me this time, and see if they have one for the same price that fits? Is there anything I can do to the holster to make the gun fit? Does anyone on here need a holster for a Bersa, or have one that will fit a PA-63?
  10. No real reason for the Queen of Hearts. Just picked a card randomly out of the deck we brought with us. Should have thought that one through, haha. We didn't throw it in the air, it was stationary on a target. That's the way we saw it on tv. If you could throw it up, and still hit it on its edge, that would be pretty impressive.
  11. OK, I accomplished something today, and I just have to show it off. A friend of mine saw this trick shot on some TV show and we decided to try it. We split a card in half on its edge! It took me 5 shots from a distance of 7 yards with a PA-63 shooting silver bear 9X18 Makarov ammunition. We also took shots at 25 yards with scoped .22s. That shot took only 5 tries and the card was split. Pictures of the Makarov shot to follow. Sorry for the poor quality. These were taken from a camera phone.
  12. I'm with you. Owl Hollow is perfect. Maybe we could even grill out instead of going to a restaurant. We'd have to ask Charlie of course, but the last time I was out there I saw a grill we might be able to use.
  13. Or just follow what the founders said and have NO TAX. I say we listen to what Ron Paul said during his presidential run. He is a very wise man.
  14. Same thing here.
  15. HAHAHA! Johnny Dangerously.
  16. Send it. Of course, I'm in a state of anger too.
  17. Wow. I can't believe what I'm reading. I am afraid for the future of our country. Now I REALLY wish Ron Paul won.
  18. Another question. Has anyone ever dealt with Top Guns in Cookeville? I was passing through there the other day and talked with the owner. He said that he was also the owner of "Coffin Arms." I'm guessing that he's trying to start up as a distributor. It's actually kind of funny looking. Walk into a somewhat small gun store with two giant coffins in the middle promoting his new business, haha. Anyway, he said that he could build me a brand new ar-15 for $650 out the door. And that everything he sold would be guaranteed for life. Sounds like a great deal. I think he uses all DoubleStar stuff. But I REALLY like the Gadsden Flag lower. It's just cool. Any thoughts?
  19. I'm looking at building an AR-15 in the future, and was hoping to get some help. I've picked out some parts, and I know I'm missing something, but I'm just not sure what. At the Armory in Lebanon, they have a stripped lower that has the Gadsden Flag logo engraved on it aka "Don't Tread on Me". Not sure on the manufacturer. Have you guys heard anything bad about this lower? After that, I would need a lower parts kit. I have found an upper at a pretty good price online, but I'm not sure of the quality as far as brands go. Here's a LINK. I'm looking at the Del-Ton M4 at the very top. Obviously since it's flat top, I would need some kind of sights, and would just get a detachable carry handle at first. As far as the buttstock, I know I would like one of the extendable ones, but i don't know what brands to look for or anything, could you guys help me out? One more thing. If I do build this, I'm going to eventually want to put a .22 conversion on it. That way I can shoot it all day without spending too much money. Are there any problems with the cheaper conversion kits as far as accuracy and reliability? If it is avoidable, I would like to not have to buy a complete upper. Thanks for any help.
  20. AHAHAHHAHHAHAHAH! That's great! What movie is this from? I have to watch it now.
  21. Maybe a problem with the new rule of not using the general free email addresses? LINK
  22. Agreed.
  23. HAHAHAHAH, nice.
  24. I'm listening to the Tossers right now. Their "On a Fine Spring Evening" album. Thought you guys might like this website. I just found it today. Seems pretty cool. You can listen to pretty much anything for free, and it kind of looks like iTunes in a way.
