Fox Kits Catalog Hey has anybody had any dealings with this group?

From most of what I could find in my research unless the numbered peices are in the single digits there is usually not much value in them. The knives to watch are the ones that are carried daily. If you think about it makes sense Supply and Demand. If you have 100 knives that are listed as collectors items and all 100 of them are bought and put up. You will always have 100 of these knives. Now if you have 10000 case XX yellow handle trapper and everybody buys ine and uses it except for you. Now the knife you bought you put it in the gun cabinet and never use it. Guess which knife will be worth the most? Now once past that you have knives that for one reason or another make them special. Knives with special scales, blades, or bolsters can cause them to maintain or rise in value. Something else to note that when collecting knives is the boxes. Most people through the boxes away almost imidiatley after buying so the boxes could be worth more than the knives. With all this said you have to remember that a knife is worth no more than what someone is willing to pay for it. Buy the way If somebody is into collecting Case knives or german steel and would like to do some trading drop me a line. We might can do some trading or at least BS about knives I will say I'm kinda picky about my knives. I like Case Trappers (I can do most anything with it. There is ALWAYS a trapper in my pocket) Tacticool knives (it takes a whole lot to impress me)

I'm in Stewart Co. When I'm home I would not mind putting a few rounds down range.

I can't wait until my boys get old enough to join and my girl to join girl scouts.

I'm not at home right now but when I get back I will post some pics if anybody is interested. I'm the Stewart County area.

Rock Island 1911 Officer Model

It does not do it dropping the slide on a loaded magazine but sometimes it will do exactly what you are talking about while fireing the pistol. I will try swapping out the recoil spring first chance I get. -

I forgot I did coat it with Dura coat prior to shooting it. This is my second coating job on the sametype pistol the first one I had no problems with. -

Yes out of the box I had this problem. I figured it would work itself out but I have not had time to shoot latley. -
I need some help I figure this one should be simple but it has me stumped. My new Rock (50 rounds through it) will not lock up when you drop the slide with the slide release (with a round in the chamber). It will lock up if you work slide and stip a round off the magazine. Then sometimes it will lock up while fireing and some times you have to bump the slide to get it to lock up.

If you hate your daughter's boy friend......
inspecting1 replied to Will Carry's topic in General Chat
Ok I have a 6 yr old daughter she is already boy crazy although I'm pretty sure she it just means she like them better (gets along with them she is kinda a tomboy at times). I have been giving this a lot of thought and the best thing I can come up with is a good hand to hand combat course. That way nothing will happen that she does not let happen and if some little boy goes home with a broke arm oh well !!!!!!!!! He get to explain to his dad why she broke his arm. If the dad does not like it then we can discuss it. -
Alright this sounds like a good thing but I would like to go ahead and donate seeing as how with my line of work it's feast or famine and right now its feast.

I'm on a diet plan thats called Medifast. I've lost about 22lbs since June 1st. The meals are ok. You get to have one lean green meal a day and 5 of there meals. You eat every 2-3 hrs. You daily intake is about 700 calories. You do get used to it.
-
Can't say for sure for a 22lr but I know they built them in 22Mag. I own one

I hope you are not planning over a day at Niagra I was there earlier this year. The Canadian side is the nicer side but there is a reason why its a place for Honeymooners. 1. 90% of the people you see over there will be foreign speeking another language. 2. everything is expensive 3. 20 minutes and you have seen the falls 4. once all that is done you have only your wife/husband to talk to, you are broke, and so you might as well go back to the hotel room and find out if you can really put up with each other for a week DC is definatley cool but scary at the same time.

It's a Rock in 45 acp. ran a few rounds threw it the other day and it seems like it is going to shoot good but it's still tight so I need to shoot a lot more
-
If it shoots like the last 2 that I have had my hands on it will be a good shooter. I figure I'll give it a couple more days to cure then I'll be slinging lead.

Phil at Bellshire Hardware was great we sat around and BS about guns while doing the paperwork I will definately be buying more from him. Of course as some of you will notice this is not the original color as soon as I got home I shot it with Dura coat BEFORE I even shot it.

Ok so back in louisiana we used to hunt squirrels from a boat drifting down the bayous. is this legal in TN? I know in LA the boat could not be powered by a motor while you are shooting.
-
and hope they don't have the law out to through the parking lot with a dog

If we are thinking about the same time. My grandpa was a Coxswain on a Higgins boat that was left on the canal when fleet got word that the Japs were moving in. You never know he might have gave your uncle a ride to the beach. He made 3 of the 4 major invasions in the phillipenes driving a Higgins boat.
