Thats not what I would call it. LOL Well maybe I would, I learned the true meaning of the acronym f.u.n. while on deployment on a Frigate (freaking unreal nightmare)

I was going to get a new battery for my motorcycle today but it seems mother nature decided my priorities were not in line with hers.

From me of Rons work? Or from Ebow?
-
Very true and Ron is very good. He does some extremly beautiful checkering. I called him tonight but he was busy (father in the hospital/father in law with a broken hip).

If you don't find anyone local to you, my neighbor could do it. He is a retired cabinet builder and now these days he makes custom stocks. He does some really beautiful work. The last project I saw was a Browning Diana Grade shotgun that he made stocks for. One thing you should know though, he is slow and rather on the expensive side, but I assure you it would be done right.

Good job. It looks really good! It sure beats my weekend wood project. LOL I made a "ball caddy" that the wife saw on the DIY channel, How to Build a Ball Caddy : How-To : DIY Network . I took thier idea and scaled it down to fit my space. I tried really hard to just use the wood and materials that i had on hand but that didnt work out for me as I did get a sheet of 1/4 ply for the backing. I also cheated on the 1x2 facing and just ripped some 2x4's down. I might paint it later on this summer, but then again I might not. LOL

CONGRATS!!!!! I hope you two have many, many more happy decades ahead.

Dont take that to heart, when ever I dont feel like talking to some cold caller, tele-marketer, etc, I sometimes claim the person they are looking for has died. Thats if I dont have time to do my usual "talk". I have been known to talk all sorts of stupid and crazy crap to people that call MY number just to entertain myself.

Year ago I got a nice Guinness glass from the Londoner Pub in Bahrain. (No I didnt steal it, the GM gave it to me) I usually have a few pints from it every year. This year I think I will have a few pints from my Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon glass just to be a bit different. LOL

This. I am not in the business either but I have done a bit of tile work. I had a buddy/neighbor when I was still in SoCal who was a tiler and he taught me a bit. While you could lay it over the vinyl, you would never see a professional do that in thier house.

I am not as knowledgable about dogs as others here but I would like to add a little for Eric. We just had to put down our 13 year old female Dobie. Baylee was by far a "mean looking" dog, but in all actuallity she was a 79 pound lap dog. My wife had her before we were married and the dog was not socialized. While not mean she didnt take to strangers. Lucky for me the first time she met me she only have a small yelp and went about her business. I guess that was the dogs way of telling Debi to keep me around. So a Dobie can be trained as a guard dog and still be good playful dogs. As far as shedding, yes they do. Short black hair everywhere. LOL I use to vacuum once a week but with the dog and a new born son I learned to vacuum every day, of which that habit has continued after the dogs passing. We have been thinking about getting another dog in the near future and havent decided on a species yet. If the price is good/fair we may very well go back to a Dobie. XD, keep me in mind when you do decide to sell. Rest assured the dog will be spoiled and well cared for. We still have the dog fence up, doggie door into the garge that is air conditioned for the last dog. Did I mention that the previous dog was spoiled?

I still carry my reflective vest in my saddle bag in case i need to stop by a base on trips that i take. I have heard, but not confrmed that a lot of the bases out West have stopped requiring the reflective vest during daylight hours. As a side note I have been thinking about not carrying my vest any longer, due to the fact I always "carry" and dont want to be caught on base with it.

As others have said unless she it sitting on tons of the stuff it probably isnt going to work out in your favor when exchanging it. I have used this converter and it seems to be pretty accurate. XE - Universal Currency Converter

I'm glad I am not the only one. LOL 20 years in the USN and have riding motorcycles for longer than that and still havent gotten a tat. After 43 years on this earth I guess I could go a while longer without one.

Thanks Eric. After I thought about my post I guess I should also note that I DID have a temp registration. It was taped to the inside of the windshield. And that folks has been my one and only speeding ticket in past 43 years of driving.

Cant beat it, but I can come close. I was still on actvie duty in 02 and my command was in Fallon, Nevada training. I left a day early to pick up my wife at the airport in San Diego. I had just picked up my new 03 Dodge Ram days before we went to Fallon. It was around 2 am and I am heading South on the 395. I had just gotten gas in Independance and after the lights from the town faded in my rear view I figured I would see where a stock Ram was "governed", As it hit 104 the flashing lights came on... from WAY back down there road. LOL I pulled over and turned on all the inside lights and had my liscence and insurance ready. I didnt have a tag or registration. As i was sitting there waiting for him to show up I noticed my unifrom hanging right behind me. I was thinking that wasnt a good move as the CHP wouldnt be able to see me from his vehicle. I didnt try to move it, I just sat there with all 4 windows down and inside lights on. After he came up to the window and asked if I knew why he pulled me over I said "I guess I was going a little fast", which brought a good chuckle from him. Now keep in mind this is in Inyo County which is pretty much know for a lot of not so nice things. After he took my info and went back to his car to call it in. I am thinking I am going to get towed as the posted limit is 55. He came back a looked into the truck and saw my uniform and knew where I had been (Fallon) and where i was going (San Diego). He asked why i was in such a hurry and I told him the truth. He then asked about my pending deployment, it turned out he was a Vietnam Vet, Navy Corpsman. After he asked if my truck was capable of doing 60 mph through Inyo County (I assured him that it could) he wrote me a no seat belt ticket.

Yes tonights show should be fun, Get shot at with paintballs while shooting the challenge. Sounds fun to me. LOL As far as the drama goes, so far this season they havent showed much of the in the house crap they aired last year. Lets hope the trend continues.

I dont have anything in the tacti-cool department. I do have a non tactical CSTS hat from Down Under, COMBAT SURVIVAL TRAINING SCHOOL: Royal Australian Air Force that Ihave been know to wear on occasion. But I do have to admit that it isnt camo'ed, black or even tacti-cool.

To help extend the life of the media I have been cutting stips of used dryer sheets to put in the tumbler. It seems to attract and hold the dirt rather well.

I believe it. I once stood watch in Hong Kong with a Ghurka. nice fella but I wouldnt want to tangle with him. LOL

LOL Yes they did. I usually ate from what ever street vendor was at hand where ever I was at. Most of the stuff, while I dont know what it was, was usually rather tasty. LOL -
I feel Patrick has hit the nail on the head. Now this is just my 0.02 here and I have been just a little ways down that road. I have dated a few that were like that and they would not seek help, so I moved on. If she doesnt admit she has issues and readily seeks help then she will never, ever trust you. Without trust you will never, ever have a happy marriage. Best of luck to you and at the very least I wouldnt set "the" date with her for a very long time.
