  1. EVER told. This is NOT in any way, shape, fashion or form safe for work. If you are easily offended please do not click. If you dont like cursing, again please do not click. You have been warned. LOL https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0B6m0p_M3TTcBYzVhODBkMTItODE1MC00YWIyLWFiOWUtOWI5YjkwNTZjMDQy&hl=en
  2. Will do.
  3. Dralarms, Once I get this worked out to the way I like it we can talk.
  4. I have been trying to just use the stuff I have on hand and not spend too much money on this little adventure. But as I dont care to spend my time "waxing" I will most likely upsize my paper wads using a 41 LC case. If that fails I will bite the bullet (LOL) and buy some cork.
  5. Want to borrow my Belgium Browning 375 H&H Mag? You pay for the ammo of course.
  6. A word of caution should be said today after my afternoon "hunting". I did get one kill this afternoon and after I came back in I discovered that one of the waddings holding the walnut in had came out and I had crushed walnut every where. I had thought about that so I did melt some candle wax over some ofthem. My result was one of the non waxed ones didnt hold. Just an thought that some of you may want to take heed too.
  7. I didnt even think to take measurements for Boone and Crocket.
  8. I saw him starting to build a mud tube above my garage and I got got carried away with the blood lust. Oh the horror....
  9. The first casualties of war
  10. I will agree to relase my kill photos as well. Now if I can just get a box of loads up to Rebeldrummer and have him agree to relase his photos, we could start our very own new thread, The 2011 Carpenter Bee Masacre. LOL
  11. Longshot, I dont know what sort of walnut my tumbling media is. I am still using up the huge bag that I bought years ago when I was stationed in San Diego. The next time I am over by PetCo I will stop in and look at the bag I saw. From what I could see through the clear bag it looked to be about the same size of stuff I use. As far as bacon bits go, I would be afraid that I would attract more critters than I dispatched. LOL
  12. You Sir, should never, EVER run for office. You seem to have comman sense and that doesnt fair well in the Gooberment. LOL
  13. I have had fun with this little adventure. So much so that I have posted this on a Harley board that I visit. There has been a bit of interest there and a buddy asked about pictures of the loading process so I took some today and posted it there and thought some here might like to see it as well. Here's how I cut the waddings The components, primed case, two waddings, 1 grain of Blue Dot powder and approx 1.5 cc's of crushed walnut tumbling media I weighed each powder charge and added it to the primed case I lightly tamped the wadding over the powder Walnut is added And the final wadding is added over the walnut
  14. I ran that ID through Stop Forum Spam and this is what comes up, 82.128.108.76 82.128.80.92 Both from Nigeria. I bet they are looking for people to give money to. LOL
  15. longshot, You could get it at a reloading supply place or get it at a pet care place Zilla Ground English Walnut Shells Reptile Bedding at PETCO If you want I could load some up and pass it along your way if you could get with Rebeldrumer and work out a way to get some up to him as well.
  16. The US did arm the Muj in the fight agains the Soviets of which UBL was a major supporter and player. But what really got under UBL's skin was the fact that his home country and Mecca allowed infedels on its soil in support of Desert Storm. UBL had proposed to Saudi that he could muster up support and fight to rid Kuwait of Saddam. When we was rebuffed by his home country his true hatred came out and he started attacking US interests.
  17. Here's the test result photos Over all I think the 1 grain would do the job for the least amout of powder used. Also that was a good amount to meadia "splash back" at 5 feet. All shots were from a Ruger GP-100 with a 2 inch barrel.
  18. I just finished the testing and I have rediscoverd something, shooting crap is FUN. LOL Of all the loads none of them fully penetrated the cardboard. I shot each piece of paper once and a piece of plywood once from 5 feet. All loads penetrated the printer paper target. The 1 grain load barely dented the plywood. The 2 grain load made some nice dents in the plywood. I have to get to the grocery store right now. I will post pictures this afternoon.
  19. I loaded 5 rounds with 1 grain Blue Dot, 5 rounds of 1.3 grains, 5 rounds of 1.5, 5 rounds of 1.7 and 5 rounds with 2 grains. I was going to measure and weigh the walnut but decided it really didnt matter. I added two scoops from a .5 cc powder spoon and added a bit more until it got close to the top. After I do the dishes and vacuum (yes I am a house husband ) I will take them out and shoot them at blank sheets of paper at 5 feet and I will post pictures in a few hours.
  20. I am working up a load right now in 38 sp. I have loaded 5 rounds with 1 gr Blue Dot, 5 with 1.5 gr and 5 with 2 grains. Here in a few minutes I am going to weigh the walnut media and finish loading them. I hope to test them tomorrow. If I dont kill myself (joking) trying to kill bee's we can talk. I have been PMing Rebel about them and you just might be a good go between, as I dont make it to his area very often and you seem to be right in the middle of us.
  21. Back at you
  22. I sent you a PM. I am NOT looking for payment or compensation but if you are near to me we could get toether and load up a batch or 9. LOL
  23. Excellent post and I would like to add something that I do. In our deep freezer I keep 8 one gallon jugs of frozen water. Its a two fold purpose, 1 the ice will keep the frozed goods longer and two once the ice melts I now have water to drink.
  24. Awesome! I hope you didnt harm him. I love finding them and showing my 4 year old.
