  1. It looks like Sunday I will be grilling up some carne asada and some cream cheese, bacon (not just any bacon but H.E.B. bacon from Texas) wrapped jalepenos. Perhaps I should get off here and hit the gun room to load up more bee loads. LOL
  2. Eric ran a little long at an "unnamed" sporting goods store off of exit 5 in Chattanooga, and as such he met me at my sons Karate lesson right around 5 pm. He and his lovely girlfriend are very, very nice folks. I wished we had more time to shoot the breeze, but it wasnt in the cards today. However with that said, Eric, you have a standing invite to visit, reload, shoot, grill and eat when ever you are in the area with a little time to kill.
  3. We just had a bit but they were pretty small. I was able to get our container garden off the sidewalk before it hit.
  4. I just spoke with Eric. He is leaving Atlanta in a few minutes and when he gets to Chattanooga he is going to call me and I will meet him at exit 27 for the hand off.
  5. Yes, they are 38's. On a side note I look forward to meeting Eric this afternoon.
  6. Cool, I'll text you the number in a minute.
  7. Who couldnt trust a face like that (in his avitar) LOL
  8. That would be awesome. I am about 3 miles from exit 27 on I-75. Hopefully Drummer will pipe in here soon. Eric, you still have my phone number?
  9. We have been conversing on the Ammo and Reloading board about carpenter bee loads. Well I live in Cleveland and he lives in the Maryville area, I believe. Is anyone in the Chattanooga are heading his way in the near future will to deliver some bee loads for us?
  10. If its ok with you I will post on the General board asking about a courier.
  11. I didnt think about that.
  12. DrAlarms, Happy hunting.
  13. I have to concur with this statement. If she didnt want to get shot, she shouldnt have produced a knife, nor should she have stolen a car nor she she have stolen a police car. EDIT: I do feel for the deputy that was forced to take a life and I hope he can somehow work through and continue on in life.
  14. A road kill 'dillo was found here in Cleveland last year, over by 5 Points for those who know the area. On my way back from Texas at the end of April I saw several/ a lot of road kill 'dillos North of Fort Payne, AL on I-59. They are coming folks.
  15. I grilled up some T-Bones tonight and my wife ate and didnt complain. LOL
  16. Here's what I do for our emergency water supply. I keep three 36 packs of bottles of water and I rotate that stock every two years. I also keep 6 gallons of frozen water in the bottom of our deep freeze. The ice is two fold, it keeps the food frozen longer in a power outage and if its longer term , ie 4 or 5 days, that will become our frinking water as it melts and the food in the freezer is cooked. Beyond that our first plan of action is cutting the water supply at the house to keep our toilet water and our hot water heater. Someone mentioned the contamination in the heater, that may be in issue if water isnt cycled enough through use. I havent thought about it though and will have to look into it. On a side note I have never cared for the iodine tablets, as they have an expiration date on them. I have used and really like Polar Pure , Polar Pure Water Disinfectant , due to no expiration and it can also be used as part of your first aid kit.
  17. What kind of raptors are they? Utah raptor? Baryonyx? Microraptor? I would pay good money to see someone ride a Utah Raptor. Back on topic, would the 2.7 Gen box be able to contain a Micro or velociraptor?
  18. She is wrong. Whether cooking food over fire, electric, charcoal, microwave, it is all preperation of a food. There fore it is cooking whether beer is involded or not. I can drink a beer in front of the stove just as easily as i can in front of the grill. LOL
  19. He defaced school property and should suffer the punishment.
  20. Coffee Kona Hazelnut coffee - ground 24 oz - Hawaiian Isles Kona Coffee Company
  21. I probably would have wet myself.
  22. I have often wondered that. As a rule of thumb, I will sometimes click a banner add but never, ever a pop up. As a matter of fact if a news site makes me watch a commercial before thier video, I just click away from it. Screw thier video. LOL
  23. My 38's are not loud at all. I have heard cap guns that were louder. I'm not sure how loud a 44 would and I wouldnt think walnut, rice or grits would bother the posting. Like you suspect there would likely be so shot out of the ports.
  24. Bagged a hornet today. I am geting a bad case of blood lust down here. LOL
