Ron, Congrats on your escape from SoCal! I was stationed in San Diego for 16 years and lived in Temecula. You wont regret leaving but you will miss some things, good Mexican (carne asada and machaca) so fill up a large cooler and freeze it when you get here. LOL

Cant help you in MidTN, but Volunteer Ordnance had a good selection of Glock mags in the racks when I went to thier range last Thursday.

  That pretty much sums it up for me. I have purchased a few things over years from them. But I havent spent a single penny in there since the last election.

Thanks UncleJak. LOL While mine wasnt an essay I thought it was a rather funny time from my tour at SERE. It was and still is the best tour I had in my 20 years in. :)

Spots, of Flatwood Forge and a Vendor here on TGO, has a knife give away contest going on over in the Knives and Bladed Tools. He had asked folks to write an essay of sorts and people would vote on them. Well the essays are posted and if you folks care to, feel free to stop in over there and vote.   For the record, I did write an essay of sorts (actually just a story LOL) but I am not trolling for votes, I cast my vote for another member.

Just my opinion, NO. I dont see where that system would do anything other than cost you more money than the 550B already does. i have used my 550B since the late 80's and havent had a need for that posted system.

DaveS, While you didnt actually post an essay, your review of the passaround was great, so you get my vote.   ETA, Would it be ok if I, or some one else posted a link in the General Chat to really get the votes coming in?

Was this in Cleveland? I saw the advertisment in the paper and would have liked to have went. But the last time I went to one the prices went well North of a reasonable rate. Much like what you desribed.

Universal are any but universal. They are not MIL-SPEC and parts dont fit. So value? As cheap as you can get it, but i wouldnt pay very muck for one.

I bought one in the late 80's for $80, but the guy did throw in two 50 round boxes of bullets and a extra magazine. The $250 asking price seems a bit high unless it is in 100% condition. If its not 100% I would think in the $190 range.
