  1.   You should go ahead and break down and tell the whole truth... You were protecting a skunk ape from the black panther.... ;)
  2. Thanks for the morning laugh!
  3. Awesome! But the sad part is I understood a lot of what she was saying. I guess I have been a stay at home Dad way too long. LOL
  4. I too like the show but one item has always troubled me. Just how in the he!! did they get all those full auto weapons in Massachusetts? LOL
  5. That is very cool! How did you manage to get the 12 that you got?
  6. UncleJac beat me to it. When I read the title I thought you might have had our very own Spots work on your knife. LOL
  7. A glimmer, maybe...
  8. This sums it up for me. I have held off in joining in on this but 6.8 nailed it for me. Before anyone asks, my son is a Cub Scout and I am the assistant leader. And the whole "caving" issue is what bothers me and really makes me ponder our future in the Scouts.
  9.   They are fairly common Dodge issues. It does make me wish that I would have stayed in the Ford line of trucks. Oh well, its paid for so I will keep feeding it gas. LOL
  10. Dodge? Don't expect that thing to dodge a gas station! LOL After 30 or 40k miles your rotors will be warped. And after another 10k you will be replacing the tensioner idler arm, then the water pump. What happens after that? Not sure, as my 1500 hasn't gotten there yet. However the side rail box will take up a lot of your bed space.
  11. Spots hit it, well on the spot. I spent 16 years in San Diego at the request of the USN.
  12. Welcome to TN and TGO, swabby! Another retired swabby here. LOL
  13.   Add a poncho and a quality space blanket and you will have an awesome improvised sleeping bag as well.
  14. Lester, The Alabama Shakes it pretty cool. Thanks for posting it.   And now some JJ Cale   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aw1oRn-fTKY
  15. Said while wearing nothing but granny panties
  16. As a former Sailor that was living in Temecula, and after looking at the photo he was most likely trying to get to Hemet. The last time I was there it seemed half the town was meth heads. Anyway, according to the source article the perp was from TN but stowed away in the cab of the truck that left TN for CA. Either way the last thing Temecula needs is more freaking traffic problems. LOL

    ...

Exactly, I was up there last week. Sorry, cant help.
  18. I assumed National Guard.
  19.   I wore camo for work for a while as a uniform, so thses days I have to agree with Lumber Jack.
  20. The very best fire starter is the one you can use effectivly and efficiently. There are some great matches out there (also there are alot of not so great ones). For matches I like these, http://www.rei.com/product/820267/uco-stormproof-match-kit . As mentioned Bic's are cheap and very handy. But my one go to for fire craft is the Magnesium Block http://www.rei.com/product/407152/magnesium-fire-starting-tool?preferredSku=4071520003&cm_mmc=cse_froogle-_-pla-_-product-_-4071520003&mr:referralID=222e9758-9368-11e2-9389-001b2166c62d . The mag block takes a little practice to get good with it, however its pretty easy once you get use to it.
  21.   Please add lots of sarcasm to the following; I think i can now say that I hate you, as I have found my new favortire site to check more often than my other sites. Just what I need to spend more time on the stupid geek box. :)
  22. I enjoy the fact that they all have a Queens English accent. :) And that its not Cockney. LOL
  23. Jorg is a memeber on another gun board I visit regularly and he comes up with and makes some really cool things.
  24.   I am another one that does it. As a matter of fact, I save it up till I have a decent amount. Then make a nice pile with a trail of powder leading up to it. And just make it even more manly I set it off with the ferro rod on my magnesium black. :)
  25. Thats awesome, where can I get me some of that North Korean Cake? LOL
