Cool idea. Recent reads are;   The Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors- A book about the Battle of Leyte Gulf. A little dry on the technical aspect but a good read.   Ghost Soldiers-An interesting book covering the Raid on Cabanatuan. The WWII raid on the Japanese POW camp in the Philippines.   American Patriot- Awesome story of Colonel Bud Day. A WWII, Korea and Vietnam Vet. One tough man. He was a POW in Vietnam and was awarded the MOH. As a side note he sued the USG to reinstate medical benefits to military retirees in the 90's. He passed away recently, and America lost one of its great Sons.

I will have to check them out in the hear future. I can only hope their Thai is at least passable. I used to love Thai food till I went to Thailand and now every thing I have ate state side has been disappointing.

I love all snakes and go out of my way to not harm any of them. My neighbors on the other hand kill them all as they see them. I try to intervene and relocate them onto my property when I can. Just means less rats, chipmunks, etc that I have to deal with. LOL

  I live N. Bradley County off HWY 60, just outside the city limits and I had a bear knock down my dog fence a few years ago. I took a picture of its paw print that I will post later tonight after I find it to upload.

My last name is Rogers and after four or five months in the Navy I was nicknamed Buck. That name stuck with me at every command, so much so that only people in TN that I knew before I went into the Circus knew my real name. The 1032 is a 4/per rev vibration on the H-60 helo. I was an AD (aircraft mech in the Navy) and I spent way too much of my life correcting and reducing vibrations on the SH-60B/F and HH-60H.

I don't much care for her or the Chicks in general, musically speaking. Her politics are her business and she, like every one else that is paid to perform, should keep that to themselves. And her butchering of a Floyd song doesn't do much for me either.
