Spots, Was it Shep?
-
Spots, My last tour in the Navy I was stationed at HMT-303, yes a Sailor at the 3rd MAW as a mech. The Navy had a small det there since they de-commed their UH1 training command. Well I would ride with several Marines. One of them was a cool SSgt. He was around '6"4 and rode a wide glide. He looked like a giraffe riding a kids bicycle. He extended the foot controls out as far as he could and it worked out well for him with some huge ape hangers (to me). To him they were well below his shoulders. LOL

Your Result: McMillan TAC-50 Discretion, patience, and attention to detail are your most outstanding characteristics. Although you don't like the spotlight you will however act in the face of buffoonery.

Friends house robbed/Home invasion in Chattanooga

That's awesome! -
Does David have a site that lists when and what shows he will be at?

Yes very odd. You are right though, shipboard deaths are not all uncommon, even aboard USS and USNS vessels. And considering the occupation of the deceased it makes for all sorts of unique problems/issues for two of them to die.

DIY Nightvision for CHEAP!!!

Dolomite, I never, ever thought I would say this to a fellow service member whether Soldier, Sailor, Airman or Marine, but you Sir are a genius! That is nothing short of awesome! -

Its going to get interesting. While I haven't read all the graphic novels I am in the process and I have read up to the point of where the group gets to the prison. New characters are coming, possible spoilers http://moviepilot.com/posts/2014/02/13/the-walking-dead-preview-abraham-eugene-and-rosita-1238100?utm_source=fb-channel-top-tv-series&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=the-walking-dead-preview-abraham-eugene-and-rosita&subscribe_to=1238100#!vK3Gz

Best case scenario, one extra magazine/clip per weapon. Worst case scenario one round for every person in your town/county. Extreme scenario one round for every person in your town/county in every caliber you own. ;)

If they go Navy they really need to talk to someone active. I retired in 05 as an AD (Aviation Machinists Mate) and at that time the Navy was going through a lot of changes. SEAL's were sourced from several ratings (Navy version of MOS). They have since done away with that and the are now their own rate SO. http://usmilitary.about.com/od/enlistedjob1/a/seal.htm I do not know how they are recruited these days. It used to be one picked a rate then volunteered for BUD/S. If they failed to earn their Trident they were sent back to the Fleet to their original rating. I am not in anyway shape fashion or form putting down the SEAL/S but there are other areas to look into, such as EOD. I got lucky on one shore duty and snagged a billet at SERE. That was fun and I worked with, trained with and trained a lot of SpecWar folks. My Master Chief at SERE was a SEAL, an awesome Master Chief and all around great dude. With that said he was in his early 40's with all sort of bad joints, knees, ankles, etc. He loved his "craft" but saw the end benefits were not as good as other rates such as EOD and the SWCC community. If they are wanting to go Naval SpecWar they need to start working out like their life depends on it.

And I am glad to see that Carl got his butt handed to him. So maybe in the near future he wont be such a snotty nosed brat.

That's pretty crazy. I have always assumed that unless its a marked car I would not stop. With the prevalence of cell phones these days, if an unmarked lights me up I will call 911, ID myself and describe the situation and ask for direction from there. Perhaps some of our LEO's could offer some guidance here. Glowdot, I see you are either now or in the past a LEO, what are your thoughts?

What broke on it? May I assume the frame? If so they may replace it.

II Duce, You sir win the internet today! That was so good and so wrong! LOL
-
Thanks for the additional info Jonathan. To me that seems very surreal. I have seen and been around more than my fair share of death in the Navy but nothing like that.
-
That is absolutely crazy! Would you care to elaborate a bit on that second meeting?
-
Wow, its a crazy world with lots of crazy mixed up people. While my church has not addressed issues such as this they have not banned CCW. So at the very minimum I will always have my .380 on me.

Enfield, Here's his IMDB file http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000450/?ref_=nv_sr_3 . He has played in many great films and he always seemed to play his roles very well.

 That's about how I feel half the time with all the new gadgets.

Thanks for the review. I will keep my eye out for it.

I have been using my 550B since the late 80's and have only had one problem and they sent the replacement with no questions asked. Outstanding equipment and outstanding customer support!
