That's pretty dang cool! If I didn't value my digits so much I would give it a try. LOL
-
I readily admit I have one also, from Lowes. Its a nifty little knife that I neck carry when I am riding my motorcycle. I have taken to pocket carrying cheap folders when I ride and wear the neck knife.

Don't blame me, blame Scooby Doo. But that dang song has been in my head all day.

OK the background, my 8 y/o was watching Scooby last night and this song was on it, so I had to look it up for him and it has been in my head ever since. :stunned: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v98HEQvtpgo

Are you telling me that Soldiers are like Sailors- a bitching Sailor is a happy Sailor. From your description it sound like Soldiers are the same. :)

Great looking dogs, Eric. The bottom one reminds me of so many memes floating around out there.

We now have a 300 Blackout discussion group
buck1032 replied to Dolomite_supafly's topic in General Chat
No, just NO. I have resisted the urge to join the 300 Blackout world thus far. I really need to stay married to my wife. LOL With that said I look forward to reading that board. It might be enough to push me over the edge, so to speak. -
Awesome! Congrats, Oma and Opa!

I have the last generation of Bose, the large size ( http://www.amazon.com/Bose%C2%AE-SoundLink%C2%AE-Bluetooth-Mobile-Speaker/dp/B0090Z3SPU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418006035&sr=8-1&keywords=bose+soundlink+ii ) . I love it! I know you don't want to break the bank so this is just food for thought. Every April I ride my motorcycle to the Texas Hill Country for our annual gathering of my riding buddies. Every evening we sit around telling lies, listening to music and having a few tasty adult beverages. There are both sizes of the Jawbone Jamboxes present as well as many other brands, sizes and shapes. Hands down everyone there this year was jockeying to connect to the Bose. Again mine is last generation which means it doesn't act as a speaker for incoming calls, the newer speakers do. If you get a lot of calls that you answer it may be worth paying a bit more for that feature.

Yes Vero please do share what you find.

Sadly many of our Greatest Generation Vets are dying rapidly. While I do refer to them as the Greatest Generation I am in no way talking down to our other Great Vets from Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm and our current Wars. Thanks for bring this to our attention, :usa:

That's my take, I don't usually ask for nor do I expect it. However it is a nice thing businesses do for service members. I don't even get mad when it active only, as they are the ones that actually need to cost savings. Again they should produce the ID though.

I guess I left some of the event out. I mentioned I am a volunteer parent and our work room is right down the hall. By the time the teacher got to me she was all smiles to relate the tale. With IPhone in had and I assumed it was to look up that word. For the record it was 1st grade with a very nice, very young and very new teacher. She didn't expect that from her students. When she brought it up to me she was all smiles and laughs at that point. LOL Back on track, an active or retired service member is required to have the Geneva Conventions ID card on them at all times, uniformed or not. Ones that separate after their first or second term serving less than eight years are issued an inactive card.

I am not sure what he tells them, but I do know that one of them tried to talk to me about it. :) She was rather confused on mastication. LOL I am a volunteer parent at his school, with two cousins that teach there. Lets just say that I was immediately contacted about it, without any effort on their part to bring in the front office on the issue. :)

I thought I used big words on some occasions, I have my 8 y/o son using words like capitulate and masticate. The later one confuses some of his teachers. LOL

Thanks Bersa. SWJewellTN is correct, there are a lot of fake SEALs out there. I have worked with them for years and I can honestly say I would not want to be them. :) Yes they got cool toys, but so did I. Ever get to monkey around with a spindle pry bar? That sucker is a beast, it doesn't shoot but if one were hit with its going to hurt. LOL Besides my highest award was a Navy Achievement Medal. The awards I am most proud of are my 8 Sea Service ribbons.

I impersonated a Sailor for 20 years and 17 days. :) Not much glory and little chance of Stolen Valor as an Aviation Machinist Mate. LOL

Balut also gave me pause. How ever, liquid courage got the best of me on more than one occasion. LOL Sour Kraut, I can forgive the mayo and fries issue cause that's the European in you. And we are on the same footing for the mustard, I love mustard on fries with a healthy dose to Tobasco. :)

I am with Rob on the liver and blue cheese. I have ate many things in Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines and I assure you I know when they slide liver into a dish and I want no part of it. Thailand has some great tasting bugs as well as Indonesia but do not expect me to eat liver. LOL

Welcome to TN and bigtruuck explained it. You still have to pay your $10. To me it seems to be more about the State making money than anything else.

They sound just as smart as Biden as well.

When Sasha pulled up the cinder block and sat down talking to the cop, someone was walking in the back ground. My spidey senses peaked there and then and I knew it wasn't going to end well for her.

There are times that this place does give me hope for humanity. :)

So far the transmission is holding on, everything else is falling apart or breaking though. :(

Not sure if I should be happy or sad that no one wants to steal my Dodge Ram. LOL
