Bradley Cannon (Local Author) Book Published!
buck1032 replied to GlockSpock's topic in General Chat
I picked up the book today from Bradleys' father in law. So far I have chatted with him several times and it might be that I have made a new friend. LOL Anyway, I have started to book today as well and should have it finished in a few days. Once complete, as I told Bradley, I will run the review by him before I post it on Amazon and I will also add it here. And if Bradley is reading this, terima kasih. -
With out a hook ups long term dry camping would be tough. Other things to think of, potable water and electricity. Will the camper need 30 or 50 amp service? Will you be running a generator? You can run standard household 120v to power electrics in the camper but you will not get A/C. If you are able to hook into a septic, or dump into a septic system be careful of the black tank additives, a lot of them have formaldehyde which could destroy the bacteria in the septic system. Long term living in a camper is doable, its just a matter of what one is willing to or sacrifice to make it happen. From the situation you describe your easiest and most expensive method is a service to come out. The only other option I can see is a tote to dump your holding tanks, then you will have to take that somewhere to dump.

Good point peejay, I didn't think of that. I should have as my wife struggles on DA triggers, she pulls heavily to the right.

To me he seems to have too much finger on his trigger. It appears to be in the joint of his finger. I have always been taught the pad should be on the trigger, not the joint.

Is it available only on Amazon? I too am in Cleveland and if I can pick up a paper copy locally I will do so. -
Djibouti... Tell him thanks for me as well. Never been there and never want to go. I have had friends there so I know just enough to be glad I am retired. LOL I was always single on my deployments so I never got anything other than stuff I ordered, ie magazines and the like. A buddy had his mom send out her homemade jerky and that was always a treat. In my opinion the best thing you could do for him is constant letters or emails about your daily life. And very detailed range reports to add a little salt to it. :)

Permit holder arrested for carrying in school...

Anyone have a link to this story? For now I am siding with Bersa. I am not going to admit to anything, but lets just say that I am a parent volunteer at my sons school. I do normal volunteer duties as well as many other things for the school. I show up when my sons class has a pull out so I can get a verbal passdown on the things his teacher wants done. There are times that I am doing my normal running around before school. I have had to leave a few times for a few minutes due to me forgetting something. Oops -
How are you able to maintain Prime? They cancelled mine and dropped me to Tricare Standard in the Fall of 13. If you don't want to go into here please feel free to PM me.

Sweet! She is beautiful! Something tells me she will be the next "Little Arse Kicker". :)

Really? Wow you guys wasted tons of money there. The Navy when I was in, barely had GPS in our helo's. LOL

Good heads up. When I get phone calls I usually speak Tagolog :)

Pretty much sums it up for me. I will not stand to being hit with out defending myself. As far as the video gos, she got what she deserved. I am not sure I would have hit her, but I am darn sure I wouldn't have let her hit me like she hit that dude.

This most likely will not work for you as your vehicle is new, but I trolled Craigslist and picked up an Undercover hard tonneau for my 03 Ram for $100. A much better price than for new. Granted the locks were broken, I planned on changing them anyway. I keyed the cover to match the locks on our camper that I changed locks on.

If I said it was ugly, would you let me have it? -
No kidding, this is getting to be rather scary and interesting at the same time.....

I have seen the 50BMG video, lets just say he had a bigger set than I do. Sorry to hear of his passing.

From my understanding it was mechanical issues they had with the evaps. Maybe poor snipes working on it? Don't know as I stayed topside. :) We did take Navy Showers. Sometimes it was only cold water, sometimes it was steam. You had to bounce the steam off the shower stall to get it cool enough to get wet by. LOL

I made two deployments on the Stennis in later years. It doesn't even compare to quality of life on the Ranger. Hated the Stennis and the Vinson.

We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

For some reason this sort of makes me sad. My first two deployments were onboard her, 87 and 89. She was a great old ship and has always been my favorite, even if we sometimes struggled making water. LOL By the time I transferred I had over a year and a half of sea time on her, and that's just being on her Airwing. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/12/25/final-voyage-navy-pays-one-cent-to-scrap-aircraft-carrier/?intcmp=latestnews

Its rather evident that there is a lot of people that have made some real bad life decisions. :stunned:
