  1. LOL What could possibly go wrong there?
  2. Ever get to Cleveland? If so you can borrow mine.
  3. I like that one, but my wife would not like that price! LOL
  4. I got some nasty letters from the .Gov for not registering for the Selective Service. My problem was I no longer lived at that address when I turned 18. I was on Active Duty stationed at HS-14 in San Diego when I was suppose to sign up. Oops lol
  5. Not something to look forward to but it is an experience that she will not soon forget, for several reasons. :)
  6. I am glad to see Oper8r is back in the spot light. :) I have no idea why I haven't liked you guys on facebook yet. I will though here in a bit.
  7. Awesome! Congrats!
  8. I see what you did there. ;)
  9. I saw that as well. My problem with the wolves, now that I think about it, is why the elaborate set up with the walkers in the semi trailers? It seems they are only wanting to make more walkers.
  10. Got it, that makes sense.
  11. As mentioned a few pages ago it got me thinking. I did a non scientific timing of the commercials and I got 26 minutes and 15 seconds.   What was written on the side vehicle towards the end, something about wolves?
  12. Cool. If you don't mind I will PM you his number and text yours to him. His name is David, retired ADC (E-7) and one of my closets brothers. Feel free to call him Sparky, the name I tagged him with when he started working for me. LOL
  13. Dolo, Unless your number has change I do have it. We spoke on the phone a few times. I am the retired squid down here in Cleveland with similar family situations. Is your last two phone digits 96? I have been sending him the responses to this thread via email. When I was at his house last weekend I pulled up TGO and told him to register and join in the fun here. He seemed hesitant, but I will get him onboard here one way or the other. LOL
  14. That's what I am afraid of. I have too many hobbies and irons in the fire as we speak. Mainly my time these days is devoted to family and entertaining our 8 y/o son. I haven't been to the range in way too long and even longer since I have ridden my Harley. With the weather improving I hope to be able to shoot some of the guns I already own and even get some riding in. Who am I kidding, I will be stuck on the John Deere again this year. ;( LOL
  15. All good points and I will pass that along. I too agree that 5.56 is a little light for deer, but I just did a look and it seems legal there as long as he isn't using military "ball" ammo. I probably should take notes of this and build on myself one day. I thank you all for the info given.
  16. My buddy that's building this says maybe a whitetail deer in occasion but mostly plinking. He has nice 7 acre spread over there with deer aka yard rats that he is thinking about hunting. He is budget minded (yes I know budgets and guns are not two words that work well with one another) and getting parts as time and money permits. The extent of my knowledge is mostly my preferences, steel barrel not chromed. I don't care for a fully railed fore grip. I have handled M-4's with all sorts of stuff stuck on them and didn't care for it. I am not an operator and don't plan on assaulting a vessel, compound or building. LOL
  17. I don't know my AR's all that well and a buddy over in Arkansas is gathering parts for a build. He has most of the lower stuff and is asking me about uppers. I do understand this question is along the lines of whats better 9mm vs 45. But whats a good starter AR 5.56 upper? Chrome line barrel or not?
  18. I side with PJ and Hozzie. I ride long and hard. Usually 800 + a day when I need to get somewhere. :) Most folks don't like to ride like that. I get going and stop for gas every three hours. I listen to the voices in my head. After 600 to 700 miles I am tired of those voices. :) I then start looking for a place to crash for the night. I have thought about getting music on the bike but have never really looked into it. I do always wear ear plugs. 20 years of working on helicopters for the Navy taught me to take care of my hearing. My separation physical showed that I did very well saving my hearing. As I had negligible loss compare to when I joined at 17. :)
  19. Slacker, there are all sorts of critters to "hunt" down your way. LOL
  20. 'Splain that to the Judge, Sir. ;) I have been slacking and haven't loaded any up this year. I need to get off my duff and get to the loading press. :)
  21. That looks to be a bumble bee, Sir. You shouldn't post that picture, TWRA might start looking for you. LOL
  22. That's awesome word play!
  23. So true John. And why cant we keep a good black guy around? T-Dog, Tyresse and now Noah. Bummer.
  24. I was living in San Diego and was dating a girl in Norco. She was always bagging on me for this CD. I would also have Social D, Sprung Monkey and Unwritten Law handy as well. Norco was cow town area and I guess she wanted country. I couldn't play along with that. LOL
  25. Dinner is long past, buddy. My latest attempt has be Korean BBQ chicken. Some times called dak qui or dak gogi. I have tried for 10 years to get that one correct and I am about 90% there. However the gochujang that I got last Fall in Ohio is all gone. I need to find some locally. With that said I have mastered bulgogi (Korean BBQ beef) and we have a few times a year. You want a heads up next time I make it?
