That's dang funny! Sadly I am sure her lawyer will have a field day making him repay her for lost value. I have seen many horrible divorces while I was in the Navy and I am sure things like that crossed many minds before. LOL
-
Yes, that is cool! I have a few things I have picked up through out my 20 years in the Navy. Ash from Mt Pinatubo, 5 inch shell casing, etc. But that significant.

As that's the only thing I can think of could you please explain what your version of a vinegaroon is?
-
You say vinegaroon I think of these https://www.google.com/search?q=vinegaroon&rls=com.microsoft:en-US:IE-ContextMenu&biw=1152&bih=548&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAWoVChMIz5-ZgO2PxgIVUn-SCh2p7gDw#imgrc=XAdWhs5ggWtEiM%253A%3BhFDzZS6W-9ajdM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.animalbehaviorcourse.com%252F_Media%252Fvinegaroon_7_med.jpeg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.animalbehaviorcourse.com%252Fclass-photo-album%252Fvinegaroon.html%3B696%3B463

Yes thanks for sharing your story. Sadly many like it from times past are just gone. So good on you for getting it recorded for your family.

Yes, also the tie rods and bearing effect tire wear.

Cool! You thundercloud has moved my way and giving us a nice light show and rain.

Packing blows, not matter how you look at it. I did 20 years in the Navy so I was always packing and unpacking from transfers and deployments. Good luck with the move.

The guy in the truck went looking for trouble and found humility.

When I transferred to SERE we would take Scouts and Sea Cadets out in the field to train them. I traveled all over SoCal training Scout and Scout Leaders. It was fun for all involved. I retired in 05 and I am sure you are correct, I doubt that stuff happens any more.

I am sure those Troop Ships had their own brands of Hell, however may I suggest multiple deployments crossing the Pacific back and forth and a Perry Class Frigate. I promise you the FFG's rock and roll way more than a flat bottom john boat. LOL

I set up a trap to catch one. So far I have trapped 4 feral cats. SPCA here in Bradley County isn't very user friendly either. I checked their website, says there are open 1-6 and for drop off 1-5. We get there with cats in tow to see the sign that stated due to Memorial Day on Monday we are closed Saturday. Now I have made a kennel to store said cats till they open back up Wednesday. So to make a short story long, try trapping. :)

When will you be available to sign autographs? :)

It really all depends on what you want. San Diego has a lot to offer. I was stationed there for 16 years and we do go back on occasion. With that said, if you are walking around the Convention Center are check out Sea Port Village. Yes its your basic tourist trap sort of deal but there is an awesome Chicago style pizza joint there that's right on the bay, http://www.asaggiopizza.com/ . As mentioned the Zoo is great and so is the San Diego Safari Park, formally known as the Wild Animal Park. I never cared for Sea World, but it is also an option. If you like wine, check out a small road trip to Temecula, http://www.temeculawines.org/wineries-vineyards/. Still Ugly nailed it for the Mexican food. Any of the "bertos" places are good as well as hundreds of hole in the wall places. The one place that I always go back to when I am in San Diego is El Tapitio in Imperial Beach (South of San Diego). For the first few years after I retired and moved back here we would fly out with a cooler and fill the said cooler with carne asada or machaca con huevo burritos and bring them home and freeze them. :) Cabrillo National Monument on Point Loma is cool, http://www.nps.gov/cabr/index.htm. I have a buddy and my mentor in the Navy is interred at the National Cemetery and I do try to visit him when I am in town. Morbid, maybe but a somber and at times refreshing experience to me. If you have any specific questions toss them out and I am sure we can get them answered.

Yes, Yes it is....

I have always preferred Theory of a Deadman over Nickleback. With that said, Social D bumper stick has been the only band to adorn any vehicle of mine. Well that's a lie, now that I think about it. I did have a dead head sticker once. :) -
Since you didn't double lock them, they are even easier to pick. Well not actually pick, more like "jimmy" or "shimmy", But no, I do stupid things like that to myself way more than I am willing to admit. :)

That's exactly what my wife and I have done. Our son was born a year after I retired from the Navy. Almost all of our "spare" time is devoted to our sons entertainment, education and fun. :) As such our motorcycles sit a lot more than they use to. And lets not talk about the last time we went to a range. Not crying about it, just explaining. Our son will only have a few more years where he wants to be with us, as such we are enjoying every minute of "now". :)

Congratulations! I second Cold Stomper's statement. My son is 8 and has been in Karate for a while. He isn't the best at it, but he tries and continues to improve. :)
