    Lay-a-way Plan

There are several around this area that do. Like Sgt. Joe said Parkway Gun and Pawn, and also Krasner's Cash and Pawn, in Jackson, and Todd usually has some of the best prices around. Robertsons Trading Post in Henderson, and Woods Gun and Pawn in Lexington. Thats the ones that I've had dealings with in the past, and probably others, just haven't dealt with any others.
  2. Now thats what I'm talking about.
  3. "the strain was too much for him to bare"
  4. lol, it is a little steep for two rolls, but if it saves your butt.
  5. I live in south east Madison Cty. about ten, twelve mins. from Jaxson.
  6. I found this on another site, Im no expert on the three, but I thought some of ya'll might want to see what this fella had to say. Humorous Comparison of an AK47, an AR15 and a Mosin
  7. I would have agree, then 9mm, followed by .45acp. at least thats the way they are in my safe.
  8. No JPS I don't know anything about it. I found it on Auction Arms a couple of weeks ago and just had to have it. Like I said in early posts it was like the one my dad had when I was just a boy. I know his had some beautiful wood just as this one does, and I love those octagon barrels. I guess I'm just a cowboy at heart, because I like single action pistols, and lever action rifles.
  9. To Garufa, and OhShoot, I don't have any idea as to the problem. It happened several years ago and I just threw it in a drawer and there it has been. Hadn't even thought that much about it til I saw this thread the other day. When I bought my safe last year I just left it where it was, was just making a joke about the paper-weight.
  10. I would have to say Hi Point C9. It shot pretty good in the first 100 rds. then broke something inside. Makes a good paper weight, kind of big but it holds the paper in place.
  11. LOL;)
  12. Thanks ya'll, I was very happy to find one. It being in this condition was a plus.
  13. I will play 30/30 marlin 12ga. slug 44 mag. SBH .223 Savage 67' Mustang 87' Chevy Silverado (this one was finished w/somebody elses 12ga.)
  14. Congrats, that was fast, lot quicker than mine.
  15. I seen Elton John in Memphis, didn't want to go but you know them G/F's. Was a pretty good show he was crazy, but the best had to Pink Floyd at the Vandy Stadium.
  16. It's a model 94 Winchester Classic in 30/30. They made them in the mid to late 60's, I think like 66 or 67 to 69 or 70. This one was made in 67' and looks to be unfired. I haven't seen but three of them, one being the the one dad bought around 68' 0r 69'. The one of dads was to first gun I ev er fired or hunted with.
  17. Sorry it's a 30-30.
  18. Looks good I am sure you will enjoy. I love the single actions, I have several but no Vaquero. Watch out though they can be additive.
  19. :cool:I found this a couple weeks ago, my dad bought one of these when I was about nine. It was the first gun I ever shot. This one was manufactured in '67. This my very first Winchester, what do ya,ll think. I would also like to give a shout to Krasners Pawn Shop in Jackson for the transfer, they only charge a 10.00 fee plus the usual back ground fee. Everybody else around here wants 30 or more. Any way I'm happy..
  20. Mine is work related, I've been in the vinyl siding business for more than 20 yrs. Been self employed for 9 yrs. now. Some of the contractors and others that we work around say here come the siding guys, So I thought it would be approiate.
  21. I think it looks good also.
  22. Hvy Mtl I liked that last idea there, but I think he said it is a .5 ac., um I'd say not enough room for that though.
  23. I found this picture but they are not all single action.
  24. Only one I have a picture of is the SBH
