  1. Kind of looks that way. lol
  2. Welcome, and congrats on your new purchases. Careful though they can be addictive. lol
  3. Welcome Dave.
  4. Welcome
  5. Where is this going to be located? I heard the other day that Great Outdoors closed is that where it will be?
  6. Be sure and let us know Dolomite. I know you will.
  7. I bought a Puma M92 in 38/357 a couple of months ago, mine is the SS model with thw 20in octagon barrel. Its not as smooth as I would like for it to be, but seems like the more I shoot it the smoother it is becoming. Very accurate, I took a deer with it this year. I will say that I will not be parting with it any time soon, actually probably never.
  8. Nice couple of bucks you got there, welcome aboard.
  9. Bama, don't think Lsu can do it twice in one year.
  10. I'm like you Dennis, this year while deer hunting on a snowy day I saw my first cat. But didn't have time to even pick up the rifle, much less get a shot at it. I would love to get a chance at one some day.
  11. ^ What they said, because it does make a difference.
  12. Congrats on the venison, and the 35 is a good deer gun. I killed one of mine this year with a 35 Rem.
  13. Congrtas to the both of you. You for taking them, to him for a nice shot.
  14. Recoopin from the day. Sippin Jim Beam and chasin with the King of beers.
  15. I like my 4-hole Lee turret press. I load 100% handgun ammo, and it works fine.
  16. I got 2 boxes of the Winchester 333, 22lr, another mag for my Ruger MK III, a bottle of Jim Beam, and gift card. Still have to go to inlaws, next weekend, probably get another brick of 22's, thats what the FIL usually gets me. So I should be stocked up on 22's for awhile, besides I already have a couple of bricks in the safe now. lol. never to many right?
  17. Sorry about your uncle. My dad got me started, he always had a rifle, and we did a little deer hunting. But a guy that I worked for was the one that really got me into guns. He always had some nice handguns, and was trading and buying, so I would say he had more of an influence in peaking my interest. Now I am just a gun nut, I like 'em big or small, h*ll I like 'em all.
  18. I went this morning, didn't see a thing. My buddy missed a 6 pointer though, that was shortly before 7. I have killed three so far an eight during ML, and two does since gun season opened, one with my .357 Puma, and the otherwith my .41 Ruger BH.
  19. I like hunting with hand guns, they are perfect for in the woods. I have Super BH.44 with 7 1/2" barrel and 2.5 x 6 varible, and .41 BH 6 1/2". With the .44 I can hit baseball size targets at 75 to 80 yds. regulary. At 40 yds. can cover 3 shots with a quarter repeatedly. Took a little scrub buck last year with the .44 at about 65yds. This year took a small doe opening day at 25 yds. with the .41, both with one shot, neither made another step.
  20. Might help if we knew where you close to.
  21. That was GREAT!!! thanks for posting.
  22. Not a knief freak, but if you like 'em I would think it would be like liking firearms. no such thing as having to many. Besides knieves are silent. lol {next post will be the number of beast for me}
  23. Welcome, like your avatar.
  24. lol, wd that sounds about right as I have heard. As for myself I have always been lucky enough to not have to hunt these. I have hunted a couple some years back on the state wide closed weekend in some of the non-quote hunts though.
