  1. Should be some nice eatin, congrats.
  2. Have a BH and Vaquero in .45, they do shoot a little different, but I guess its more in the way you hold/aim each. My BH came as a converitble, .45 acp cyclinder also, and am lucky enough that it works fine in both. Mine are the 4 5/8's barreled models. I also have the 357/9mm BH with 4 5/8's and a 41 Mag with 6 1/2". I guess you could say I like Rugers, have a few more, a SBH, & a couple single-sixes.
  3. Only saw the usual squirrels and such. Heard a gobbler and an hen go back and forth for some twenty odd mins, that was neat, Then saw three gesse fly over. Pretty nice morning to just sit and listen to nature.
  4. I guess I'll ease up there for a few mins. I've got a couple of .22 revolvers that I am wanting to sell to fund some glass for a hunting rifle. Maybe find a few boolits while I'm at it.
  5. Any body going today.
  6. Thats about my luck too, Dave.
  7. Good luck to everyone hunting this mornin.
  8. Thanks, I'll check 'em out.
  9. Hey Rightwinger, where did you find the ejector port cover with the don't tread on me motif? I'd like to get a couple of those myself.
  10. Greg I'm not 100%, but I thought I saw some 150 cor-locs on Midway a couple days ago. If so I probably sould have ordered some but was really looking for .35 Rem bullets at the time. Starting to see primers as you said but not so much on powders around here either.   Caster what are using with the Unqiue in the .35?
  11. Hey Dave, what do ya'll use to clean the barrels with?
  12. Welcome aboard.
  13. Nice, I haven't been all year. Last year we went about once a month, just never made this year. Congarts on at least one good one.
  14. it hasn't woke up yet.
  15. Welcome, to the community.
  16. Good luck ruger!
  17. I'm in the vinyl siding business, in the past month I've talked two separate customers. And both told me of some sloppy and improper window installers. Took a very long time to get it straigthened out, causing delays in brick work and such. So like was said earlier, you may want to talk to some of their previous customers before you make a decision. jmho
  18. Going to shoot mine after while. Mine are a TCA Renagade .54, and a CVA 1858 .45 revolver. In the Renagade I use 85 to 90 gr. fff black powder, and in the revolver 30 to 35 grs. Love the smell ot that stuff. Not very good at the picture thing. sorry
  19. Unless they were shooting coyotes. ML season doesn't open til the 9th. NEXT Saturday. Going to shoot mine after while, love the smell of that stuff.
  20. . God knows, everyone and their Momma has a .22 rifle or pistol, or both.   Or ten to twelve.
  21. I've got a Puma with 24" Oct. barrel, I shoot mostly 158 gr lead with unqiue or H110. Its pretty darn acurate at 100 yds. I killed a deer two years ago with that load at about 85, 90 yds. Shot plum through the neck, never made another step.
  22. I saw the truck in Jackson back in the summer sitting in their parking lot. Wondered what it was about.
  23. What kind of licence does that require, and do you have to have some other kind of tag.
  24. Nice Samson where you get him, as we know ML season here dosen't open til the 9th, in TN.
  25. Hey Dave, is that New Johnsonville, your speakin of?
