1. Hey,  mowed the grass, found a shed.
2. Thats how I quit, got sick and couldn't for a while, Then when I got better I told myself heck you've made it this long why not quit. Thats been 33 yrs. ago now.
3. Yes sir, I am currently looking for one. Something in the 190 to 200 gr, Right now shooting 200 gr cor-locs.
4. Well did get a chance to shot it Sat. afternoon. We just shot it at 50 yds. Shot pretty good, shot a couple different loads I had and it seemed to like a IMR load the best. And hey, I've got about a lb. of it good place as any to start.
5. Ok, I just renewed my license, back at the first of Jan. Birthday Feb., and I have been kind of looking for .35 Rem lever action ever since I got this Savage pump action. Well I found this J.C.Higgins Model 45, and it was made by Marlin for Sears. Marlin used birch stocks in stead of walnut, a few others small things. Well it was made between '60 to '61. So its eligible, heck so the savings on the other wise, transfer fee, BC, and going after it, payed for its self already. Its not in bad shape at all for a 54 yr ole hunting rifle. A few scratches, a little surface rust. Less than $400 to the house.
6. Nazis walk in, but they don't walk out.
7. Not to worry I already reload for this caliber. Have a model 170 Savage in .35 Rem already, and I just bought 60 bullets and cases for a member over on Castboolits. Plus my next casting mold will be for this, and if you didn't know, you can use .357 bullets for a nice plinking loads and small game out to about 100 yds. So I'm not stressing to much, but thanks for the concern.
8. I was raised in a christian home, but don't go to church as I should. But I'm still a believer, and am sick and tired of all the atheist, and gay marriage crap. No more praying, no more Pledge of Allegiance, and all the pussifaction that is going on in our country. I fear that if this crap is not brought to a halt soon that we will end up like Sod'om & Go-mar'rah.
9. I just used my C&R to purchase a fairly nice 1960s J.C.Higgins (made by Marlin for Sears).35 Rem. Will be shipped directly to my house tomorrow. The savings on the transfer and back ground check alone will pay for the license. Whats not to like.
10. They cost $30 and generally speaking the savings of your firearms purchase will take care of that. Heck whats no to like. If you don't have a C&R Lincese, you really need to consider getting one------------- it is a license to spend money, though. haha
11. I can't even say what I'm thinking,
12. Keeps us informed. Not that I have a dog in the race, seeing I'm over here on the other side of the state, and no Academy.  But I like what you did.
13. Nice story Mike, its amazing sometimes how things happen. Yeah I know mail carrier prety good, like High Power said the weekly carriers are pretty good but some of those weekend jokers are less than desireable.   Oh well on a different note, got an e-mail a little while ago saying my payment finally arrived, and that my new to me toy will be shipped promply. Yeeeha UPS is picking it up, hopefully be here by the weekend. A new lead spitter, will post some pics when it arrives.
14. Dang downtown,                                                you didn't know?  lol

17. Al ways heard that there three signs of old age 1st is you can't remember things. 2nd                           well heck I can't remember the others.
18. Not funny, and I'm still waitng. Sent a postal m/o to FLA. the 20th of Feb. for a GB purchase, as of Sat. still no payment. Checked e-mail yesterday afternoon still no update, hopefully it gets there today. I am pretty pissed as you could imagine. I could've hand delivered it and been back by now. I'm hating government services more and more all the time.
