  1. My wife really like the Kahr P9. Me too. Great size. Feels good to shoot. The DAO trigger is long, but very smooth. Her only issue was the rather strong recoil spring making it hard for her to cycle the slide. She LOVES to shoot .38 special. She has a 4" S&W Model 66 revolver with a crimson trace grip. She would probably do well with a J-Frame too. The laser grip takes a lot off the table as far as confidence in acquiring a target. Good to practice with too.
  2. I was sighting in my wife's Model 66 Crimson Trace Laser grips yesterday and this was my final target. She will now be "dead eye Dick :death:" when the bad guys come in the house. S&W Model 66 .357 4" revolver (Sweet trigger) .38 special reloads, 10 shots 10 yds with Isoceles Stance I DID use the Crimson Trace Laser to shoot this. There was nothing in the rules prohibiting it Useltons Indoor Shooting Range - 9/17/2009 Score 100 Gray
  3. Armor Ammunition is a company out of NC. Has both new and remanufactured ammo in bulk quantities. Anybody use it? www.armorammo.com Thanks Gray
  4. Speaking of ammo - I am assuming 10 shots again this month? Gray Ooops, sorry, missed it in the instructions. Duh!!!
  5. My first submission. This is only the second time I've been out with this brand new gun. I did not use the laser. (The second shot is with some photoshopped dots so I could see where the rounds went. Any tips on how to photograph a target better?) 6. I've read the negative posts about Uselton's. I don't know any thing about the north end store. In Franklin, the range is clean, well lit, and up to date. Rick and Janelle have been nothing but friendly to me. They have ammo available at reasonable prices for a gun shop. Rentals are a little high at $20 as are lane fees ($20), but lane fees are for an unlimited time. Their prices are befitting their location. It's clearly a business decision to tap a higher end market. Certainly won't compete with Gunbroker etc. Yes Rick likes to talk and give his own opinions...don't we all:) My biggest plus here was how Rick took the time with my wife during our autoloader class. He was patient and kind. He even invited her to come back at any time to work with him further. (She got unnerved when learning the Glock when a fella was blasting away with a 50 cal pistol. Man that thing is loud, and the concussion could make your teeth chatter.)
