  1. Pork BBG sandwich (with plenty o' Frank's Hot Sause) and a side of Mac'n' Cheese. They were leftovers from this past weekend. BTW: You can't beat Frank's Hot Sause...I put that stuff in my eggs, spagetti, and tacos. Greatest condiment since Ketchup.
  2. Anybody ever catchan episode of 'The MiddleMan"? It's a cheesey X-files/Men In Black type comedy. Saw it on TV last night but didn't catch the station.
  3. My wife emailed me this last week. After seeing the Pittsburgh Steeler fan in the recliner. And.. the guy whose coffin that looked like a cadillac (steering wheel included). I'm not getting excited about anything.
  4. I always thought that Pope/Goodman/RK had bumped the price of tables up with the result being fewer vendors. They're sure sticking it to us at the door.
  5. You can't beat the Loveless Cafe. I've eaten there twice this year, and the service as well as the food was terrific. The do well for a road trip stop. They handle groups very well, too. HOWEVER! Went to Cracker Barrel off I-65 (exit 65/96 hwy) after going to the Williamson County Fair earlier this month and the service was terrible and the food was average. This is not to say that CB is a bad place to eat...just the one on Exit 65 on I-65 in Franklin. They're getting a reputation, I hear.
  6. Forgot to metion: CN's Adult Swim.... Venture Brother Metalocolypse and Robot Chicken
  7. Burn Notice
  8. Thank you, Thank you ...I'm here all week, but only 2 shows a night....again, thank you. And please, remember to tip your wait staff.
  9. I went last year around this time and there were so many tables you couldn't throw a cat without hitting one. I went with my brother this past Sunday and it was terribly sparce. The tables were few and far between. I could appriciate the dealers that showed up, but for $10 a pop, I'd expected to see a bigger show. I did go to Goodman's last show, and there was actually more gun and knife vendors there than the typical taser/lighter/switchblade/flashlight/keychain guys....and it was only $8 at the door.
  10. I agree with this. Well put, Punisher.
  11. This is all you get.... My avatar is also me.
  12. I've heard one of the "inner city" Nashville public schools have a gang that wears Cleveland Browns attire. Another wears orange. Just rumored, never got the exact facts on this.....
  13. First time I ever heard, seen or known what they were. I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled for these just to see what's behind the wheel....
  14. I admit I do, but now that I've been introduced to the Crossbreed Supertuck and the ComMTAC, I don't think I'll ever have that problem once I try one. I don't wan to highjack a thread, so I'll post this link. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10752
  15. I understand where VERO1 is coming from...then I look at the feet..... Yow! That makes my arches hurt.
  16. Does anyone have a Kleenex or a moist towelette?
  17. Sweet! Those turned out great!
  18. I'd sit through one of those gay house flipping shows my wife watches before you could get me to watch anything "Olympic".:D:D
  19. Wow...Didn't realize how easy it was to stir the pot with the mere mention of Glock. I guess you learn through experience? (hides Glock behind his back and backs away slowly)
  20. The first thing I thought of when I saw this pic was "Mall Santa Summer Camp";)
  21. Connery is the epitome of Bond. Dalton makes a better bad guy. Never liked him as Bond. Brosnan would have made a better Bond back in the 80's during the Remington Steele era.
  22. That thought entered my mind about the time I pressed the "enter" key. IMO, I would stick with the 1911 (or trade the glock for an XD). The argument from the Glock crowd is that you should keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire which is fine, but there is no forgiveness for accidently snagging the trigger on anything. I carry an XD because I prefer having the grip safety, which if you are 1911 guy you are used to it, but it means that the gun will not fire unless I have my hand around the grip and I am pulling the trigger. Being the 1911 man that I am, I think I'll stick with the one that I'm carrying currently and just use the G.L.O.C.K. at the range and/or for one of my house guns.
  23. There was a family ahead of us at Olen Mills about 12 years ago, that was having a family portait taken.. The family elders had on suits and dresses....then I saw overalls, tennis skirts, and an air brush t-shirt come out of the studio. Must have been some portrait. Needless to say, not only by the way they were dressed, but by the way they were interacting with one another and their treatment of the photographer...they were the epitome of a dysfunctional family.
  24. Dad killed one last year. He's got that dude standing on his fireplace mantle right now....
