I agree with bkelm18.... Guys who break into cars are not only scared to death when they're doing it, they're stupid. Manys the time an unlocked car has had the windows bashed out for the criminal to enter the car... I've never been cut a break by a LEO when pulled over. Even after showing him my HCP...apparently revenue money is fungible. Stickers my alert them, but IMHO I don't think it really persuades them in doing their job. Remember...Armed Robbers' RULE #1: shoot the first guy you know has a gun and/or you see with a gun. Yeah, carrying a concealed firearm is like carrying a roll of $100 bills. You sure don't want everybody knowing you got it on you. And don't pull it out until the serious business starts.

Imported Law Enforcement.... Nashville has a lot of those. The last time I was pulled over, the LEO asked me why I had 2 driver's licences. I explained it was my HCP. He was a little puzzled, but proceeded to write the ticket.

Lie to her...tell her its registered, and not to worry about it anymore.... When/if she makes any more reference to it....just nod your head and grin. I've found this method also works with my wife(as well as my mother) on generally all topics, not just firearms.

I just bought a new (to me) truck from Tom Bannen Chevy. I had gone and found the truck I wanted at Carmax. The bank officer at my credit union told me that they were about $5000 to high. Be weary of taking the car home for the 3-5 day test drive, too. They make you all but finance the car through them before you take it. When you bring it back, you've all but bought the vehicle. It's easier to just go ahead and purchase it rather than damage your credit report trying to back out of it. Just like their add says, they're not like any other car dealer you've encountered. My wife used to work for a dealership in downtown Nashville, and I thought she was going to have a nervous breakdown until I found my new purchase on another lot. But, one good thing is that they do only deal in demonstrator cars and lease vehicles....so their inventory is quality.

I stop paying attention when someone who has put them self in a position of "importance" refers to a CALF as a baby cow. It's also obvious that Tracy has no idea how the whole cattle/dairy farming industry works. I've never heard of a calf,...or baby cow, dying of starvation on any farm in the United States...or the world for that matter. It doesn't worry me as much about the meek inheriting the earth as much as it does the stupid.

I can't seriously see this being enforced. BTW:The codes officials in my town would want you to purchase a building permit everytime you paint the rooms in your home, mow your lawn, or pour a fresh load of gravel on your driveway.....but that ain't gonna happen, either.

I feel the same way. I only purchase guns (I'm not a dealer, so I don't sell) and when I'm in the market for one, I'm going to pay the price marked because I'ved already shopped around and know what the average/fair price is. I've only ever paid cash, too. To see a price tag with price, tax, and BGC listed and totalled would be alot simpler. Then I'd know if I had enough left in my stash for holster, extra mags, and ammo.
