  1. I work right off Armory Drive. I have a place to go for lunch, now....
  2. Dude, you need to apply for a PayPal check card (mastercard) so you can use your account outside the web and on ANY web site purchase. Go to PP and apply. It's free and works like a check card.
  3. +1 ...and that, sir is why you'll have my business...One day, if I can ever get to Winchester to spend some cold hard cash in your shop. Fellow member, Creeky, and I are trying to plan a journey to shop you one weekend to purchase a lower or 2. God Bless you.
  4. $2.09 at the Flying J in Fairview off I-40
  5. Flying J in Fairview has $2.15 at last check.
  6. Well put. Also, somewhere in between 1st and 4th will be OSHA certifying ammunition as an explosive and regulating the purchase of. I agree, they won't outlaw firearms at first, they just make it so damn expensive that not only can you buy firearms/ammo/accessories, it'll be just as hard to keep a business to sell what the few can afford.
  7. Then it's obvious I haven't received a call from the NRA, but have from other business.....I'm abandoning any more posts on this thread. Nothing to add. Sorry to have pirated the thread.
  8. I don't guess I've ever gotten a call from the NRA....unless the CID came up TOLLFREE NUMBER. In that case, I just tell one of the kids (our 5 or 8 yr old) that it's for them. Poor little fellows really get hacked when they pick up the phone, answer, and get hung up on, but the telemarketeer knows whats going on...I hope. Caller I.D....greatest invention for men since the TV remote.
  9. I have been a consecutive annual member since 1993.
  10. +1 and thank God for that. Until then, buy ammo and high capicty mags like they're going out of style....because they literally may be from a legal stand point.
  11. Yep, America has a new president...there goes the neighborhood.
  12. I don't think they make poisonous anti-freeze anymore. The last time I flushed my radiator, I noticed that the label was marked, "Not Harmful to Animals". I've noticed it on other manufacturers' labels since.
  13. Long gone are the days of an old hubcap and a pint of anti-freeze.....just sayin'....
  14. How nice, but what has that got to do with the price of tea in China? I'm not a PC kinda guy either; my point being...."Pop a cap in Mittens" with a .22 rifle one Sunday morning in front of a half dozen soccer moms in your neighborhood and see how far up on the "Burn in Hell' list it gets you. The topic of my initial reply to the thread starting post being: If youre going to snuff domestic animals, owned or stray, don't advertise that you're going to do something about it or let anyone catch you when youre doing the deed. Try not to stray from the topic...its about killing cats and not getting heat from it.
  15. DRM has a point. I don't know if it's illegal or not, but it's certainly not politically correct. I'm behind you in popping caps in stray cats, but I sure wouldn't advertise. The name of the game when ridding yourself of domestic pests is "clandestine". Good luck in you persuit, though.
  16. Get an AR! I fear.... After November, you may not be able to afford one. After January, you may not be able to buy one.
  17. I always play Halloween, I play hard and I play to win..... ...and no, I don't re-enact. I only put this costume together for a costuming sci-fi/movie convention, a couple of Halloween parties, and Trick or Treating the neighborhood with my kids this year. I put this one together using only John Ford's "She Wore A Yellow Ribbon" starring John Wayne as a reference. You can't see it, but I also have a cavalry saber, too.
  18. Sometimes Spell Check can really take the wind out of your sails.
  19. Didn't have time to read all the posts, so my point in my post may have alread been covered. My Opinion: This is an excellent topic. Every HCP holder (including myself) should keep a name and number of a good self defence lawyer in his wallet for just such an occasion. My Point: Another thing that may or may not have been mentioned in this thread, is that once your good self-defence attorney gets you off in that self-defence case, you'll more than likely have a wrongful death suit waiting for you in the wings. My Theory: Everybody knows that a piece of trash punk that gets killed in the street, like a dog that he is, seems to always have a wife/girlfriend/mother with at least 2-3 illegitimate kids running around looking to capitalize on said punk's death.
  20. Well now, there's my new addiction.
  21. $3.11 at Flying J in Fairview this morning.
