  1. I had the same problem with my PM45, but I was not hitting the mag release button. At around 600 rounds, the mag started dropping out after each shot. I sent it back to Kahr, and they tweaked a couple of things - it's been flawless since. I think Kahrs are great guns, and I'm looking for a PM9.
  2. My favorite was last year - my first year with a carry permit. I strapped on my vaquero .45 and went as a cowboy. (Kinda made me wish I could open carry more often...)
  3. This is a great job search site - thanks for posting it!

Good to 'hear' from you! Ever get to the Stones River range on the weekends?
  5. Ripley: I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure. Hudson: F**kin’ A..! Aliens Bluto: "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?" Otter: "Germans?" Boon: "Forget it. He's rolling." Animal House

    Rule #23

I used to be a coffee snob when I lived in Oregon - there's a different coffee place on every corner up there. Now it's Kroger brand breakfast blend each day before I start moving around much. Anyone else use a vacuum coffee maker? I love mine, and it makes excellent coffee.
  7. Run? I don't do run. I'm always up for a nice long walk, but my parts don't cooperate at faster speeds.
  8. After years of crunchy, I'm swinging back towards original.
  9. That is an interesting looking gun.. What caliber is it? Please do give us a range report!
  10. I find her strangely compelling..... (But I'm not coming to the yard sale!)
  11. Welcome aboard!
  12. Surely something this advanced has a sarcasm filter, yes..?
  13. Maybe next she can get a hunting license to impress her friends at a P.E.T.A meeting.. Amazing.
  14. This surprises me.. I would have thought that after going through the trouble and expense to get a permit, most people would actually carry. I can't carry at work or keep it in my car, so I don't, but that's the only place I'll go unarmed any more.
  15. I for one am going to go to this restaurant as soon and as often as possible to thank them for making this decision!
  16. Beautiful. Do you know it's story? How is it that it stayed in such great shape?
  17. I'd go with the 1911.
  18. I have a Kahr PM45 - really like it. Very easy to conceal, and surprisingly easy/comfortable to shoot.
  19. Nice - I really like the grips.
  20. Me too - 3rd and 4th of 4 12-hour overnight shifts in a row... Gonna try to wake up enough to go to the range on Sunday.
  21. Signed up and passed it on to a couple of like-minded friends. Great idea!
  22. Sig Sauer Shrine.. I want one for my house!
  23. Good review - looks like a decent 1911.
  24. “Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls, the funerals of the children. “ - President George W. Bush, November 11, 2001
