  1. I'd email Glock. Maybe the problem will go away as the mag spring loses some of it's stiffness, and the 13th round round won't be pushing the magazine down causing the button to not engage. Who knows maybe Glock will send you a new mag to try out. Good Luck and congrats on your 21SF.

    some advice

I'd buy the one you want the most, and really learn how to shoot it. A training class would be money well spent considering how expensive ammo is nowadays. If you choose a gun that has a rimfire conversion kit available that would also help alot. Be safe!

    davis 380

    Is the Davis chrome?
  4. Thanks for the post. Now I now where all the 9mm goes.... Nothing like full-auto
  5. Can't wait to see one of these shooting at dusk on Youtube
  6. That's an awesome Commander. It'll be a long time before I have dedication (&$) to be a 1911 guy, but that doesn't stop from drooling over the pics of the sweet 1911's here on TGO.
  7. Not what I was expecting from the thread title, but looks really nice. I'm not a hunter, is that meant for use on horseback?

    S&W M&P9

Haven't shot an M&P, but did fondle one at a store. Felt really good in my hand, kinda like I was cheating on my Glocks. BUT my Glocks'll shoot even with the ammunition loaded backwards. Sweet setup.
  9. Single stack all steel 45s and Glocks. Nice collection COOP. I didn't even know that Sig made an all stainless 220. But now I want one.
  10. I agreed to clean a pair of Matching deuce-deuces for a female friend of mine last Saturday. She had slasked about trading the two of them for a real pistol and I told her no problem, Everyone I know loves rimfire pistols. So she shows up at the hacienda with a pair of Lorcin 380Ls. Ignorance is not bliss, just stupid.
  11. Could you still see the front dot?

    Hero-Gear 1911 is here

That looks like an awesome 1911!
  13. I'm curious enough to post a question. How does the trigger compare to the other 380 pocket rockets. I've shot the Kel-Tec and the Ruger.
  14. My uncle took me out to their range one cold winter morning. His SWAT team had been to several training classes and his control/precision was amazing. In my hands "not so much". His is the full size, fixed stock model. I was only able to shoot about 300 rounds before a boy scout troop showed up and we had to put away the Mean Guns. He also brought out his other issued carbine. A 10" Bushmaster carbine with 3 round burst. It jammed twice on me and once on him. It was my first time shooting either weapon and the AR confused the heck out of me. Took about 60 seconds to be able to work the MP5. He did scream at me for the first few MP5 mag changes to hit the bolt handle when it was locked back. Evidently I was babying it.... I had went to the range really wanting to shoot the his AR, but fell in love with his MP5. Until then I thought it was just an over-rated super hyped gun that was only so popular because most of us will never be able to own one. Now I'm a believer, in both the platform, AND proper training....
  15. Another beautiful 1911!!! Never get tires of looking at pictures of high quality sweet shootin pistols.

    M1 Garand from CMP

My buddies CMP Garand is my favorite rifle to shoot. To the OP, mow some grass, and earn yourself a usable piece of history.
  17. What reliability means to me for a 1911. Clean and lubed 1911 will fire 5 magazines rapid fire with zero malfunctions. Handguns are poor fighting tools. ALL machines require maintenance. ALL machines break down. Plan accordingly
  18. Wow! Those look really nice, how do they shoot? Or is that a dumb question since you made them to fit your hand?
  19. And I thought my youngest brothers 338 win mag was a cannon.... Glad you had fun Glen!

    AR so far

What a sweet looking AR, and you'll actually get to use all of the features everytime you go to the range. Excellent build.
  21. Nice Looking Sig! It'd be pretty cool, but completely unsafe I realize, if when you pulled the trigger a flag pole would pop out the end of the barrel, unfurling the actual US Gadsden flag.

    Ruger LCR - .357!!

If you have strong hands, and good grips, and only 5 shots available, why not? I've put 50 full power 125gr 357Magnum HPs through my S&W 340PD so far. Personally, I'd like to see how well the LCRs hold up to Magnum loads before putting one in my pocket, but the price makes them extremely attractive.
  23. I don't either, two thumbs forward, but I will try it tomorrow.
  24. There a nothing like a full size all steel 1911 .45ACP. However I want my next 1911 to have a rail, and night sights. Nothing wrong with a plain Jane model, but didn't quite satisfy my appetite... However I did enjoy it for about 500 rounds, and countless hours of dry firing and "fondlng".
