  1. I've been curious about the EAA EZ9. If they clone a SigP220 I might bite... Thanks for your post, Kevin
  2. Pics or it didn't happen;)
  3. Great Pics!!!!!!! I've got 45ACP on my brain again darnit2heck:)
  4. Bootleggers!!!! Background Checks!!!! OH MY!!!!! The very least of public concerns. I have no problems with giving($1) retiring agents their duty weapons. But this ain't the roaring 20's, and those good ol' boys need to spend that FREE Federal Moolah on protecting their communities from dangerous criminals. Been drinking a kittle so gonna stop fo I fall offem my soapbox:)
  5. Beautiful Colt. I've heard that those little Ponies are addictive... Thanks for the pics and enjoy your unique pony:)

    what do you feel

Depends;) I'd want it to be stainless with a four inch barrel. Look at which frames feel comfortable to you. I'd prefer Ruger or S&W.

    Glock Police Trade In

I purchased a trade-in G26 for $424 OTD. They might have one in the case, AND a stack of them in the back. Take a list of Glock date codes and the different markings on Magazines/Recoil Spring Assemblies/Ejectors. If you ask real politely they might let you swap magazines from one to the other. Be prepared to detail clean, don't believe the previous owner of mine ever did anything other than wipe the outside down:)
  9. You can use a hair dryer to warm up the Kydex and adjust to your liking. Good Luck:)
  10. Wow! That's awesome that they're going to replace it. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy... For the record, the pistol kept firing after the rail broke, but required you to clear the spent casing. How many times did it fire before you disassembled? And not to threadjack at all, but my trusty 15 year old G19's trigger spring broke a couple of months ago, after only 7000(est) rounds. I was completely bamboozled, can't imagine your suprise when your trusty old friend hiccuped.
  11. Used a Del-Ton 16 inch chromelined heavy barrel midlength gas system parts kit to build on a Doublestar lower in 2008. This was my first centerfire rifle and I planned on wearing out the chrome lining AND bayonet lug battling zombies. Rifle worked like my buddies Bushmasters until after the 200th Wolf round when it turned into a single shot. After a chamber brush was aquired it ran fine until my 500th round of Wolf and 200th round of brass 223 were gone. During this time I also put countless rimfire rounds through my Ciener conversion. At this point I decided to convert to 223 Saigas and haven't looked back. Although sometimes late at night I miss it.... The upper and lower went to different TGOers so maybe they'll comment on the longevity... I was pleased, felt like I got my money's worth, and would recommend them for a "budget" build:)
  12. I believe a Glock 32 was recently listed in the Chattanooga Times Free Press classifieds. I'll find a place that recycles newspapers on my route for the Classifieds tomorrow.
  13. Maybe ask Glock who they ship to near you? Seems like Ive heard people complain that the only place they could find was in/around Knoxville. Whatcha gettin? (if you don't mind me asking;))
  14. My son loves his Zing. Some graphite and a few hundred flips later the flipper works well. The scalloped blade is just for looks, but we both like it. I have a Tanto Blur in my pocket. Can't say enough good things about the American Made Kershaws.

    S&W 442

I have learned to save the J-frame for last at the range:) Were you shooting one handed or two?
  16. That's pretty cool of them. After some loctite my Galil style Saiga handguard rocks!! Their Saiga specific mags will work with a bullet guide, just plan on the one on the magazine breaking off. No complaints here:)

    Glock 27 or 23

Can't go wrong either way, but I would get the G23 first if you're determined to have a 40. Don't forget lots of ammo and targets:)

    H&R 930

Considering the other pistols in that price range, that's a bargain. Never seen a shiny H&R before. Hope it shoots as sweet as it looks:)
  19. I built a mid-length carbine from a Del-Ton parts kit. Once I was shown how to properly use an AR chamber brush it ran fine. No complaints here and if I ever wanted to build a "budget" AR I'd order from them.
  20. Those poor critters won't have a chance. Sweet scope and mount:)
  21. Does that say Washington DC on the slide? I had a plastic dart gun as a child that was a copy of this. What a great gift! Let us know how it shoots:)
