  1. The Kel-Tec Sub-2000 is the poor man's AK47. About 2/3 the price of an AK. Takes 20-30 round mags. I had a good one once, traded it for a G22. Now I want another one.
  2. No sweat. I forgot the whole thing!
  3. How does it do with a scope? Keep zero?
  4. Pretty amazing! Is this enough traffic to make a good living off the forum? (Sorry if this is too personal! Please ignore and delete if I have stuck my foot in my mouth.)
  5. I visit several times a day. I like to see the classified section.
  6. I'm just curious. How many discrete individuals visit TGO forums every day? How does TGO rank along with other firearm forums in the USA? I have a feeling TGO is right up there at the top! NEVERMIND! I see all that info at the bottom of the page! Dum me.
  7. I added a link to this discussion on my HP22A info page: Phoenix Arms HP22A .22 LR Pistol Review
  8. I agree it is a great little gun. I have owned both the .25 and the .22, and still have the .22. Thanks for your review!
  9. Of course, Liberal, Socialistic, just do nothing and let the officials come in and handle the problem. We are getting that way in many places in our own country.
  10. Thanks for the great review. I want one too! Why get a .380 when you can get a 9mm almost as small and easy to carry? Meanwhile, I'll have to settle for my pf9. A little bigger, a lot cheaper, but not as cool, for sure!
  11. I want one. I've handled a few, and have read lots of good reviews. It's like getting an AR, only much less expensive, and lighter and even more compact.
  12. I had one once, it was a Beretta 9mm grip model, and I liked it very much! Wrote a review... Kel-Tec SUB-2000, the Mousegunner's Carbine
  13. Nice picture! And it sure beats out the Mossy. But costs a bit more, for sure!
  14. Just for fun, this is from the police department in Berlin. How to handle yourself in threatening situations....could have been written for New York, too, I suppose. Anyway, I think I like our Tennessee ways better.... Berlin Police: Information in English - Berlin.de
  15. What are some readily available C&R handguns that would be suitable for concealed carry? Two qualities.... 1. Readily available, easy to find and buy 2. Small and easy to carry concealed
  16. Yup, I'm definitely a curio, and a relic, and an old curmudgeon, too! Darn tootin! When I was a kid (see that proves it) I grew up watching the Lone Ranger, Sky King, Roy Rogers, Hopalong Cassidy, Johnny Mack Brown, Gene Autry etc. The hero cowboys were good with their guns, and always on the side of the angels. So, yes, I'm a curio and relic, and don't mind a bit. Kid me all you want. Anyway, I pretty much asked for it!
  17. It's not just guns....portrait of a Curio and Relic....
  18. I've heard of Kivaari and his work, and it seems he can make the sks trigger really nice, I think for around $60. For myself, I'd rather just put up with the stock trigger, and save the $60. Mine has lots of creep, too, but seems to be "stageable." I believe one of these days I will take the trigger group apart and clean it well, and do some light polishing. I am guessing that quite a bit of the "badness" of the trigger is due to gunky cosmoline in the works.
  19. This is a photo gallery of my Yugo SKS. If anyone is thinking of getting one, DO IT! They are a mighty fine rifle, and still a bargain even at today's inflated prices... Yugoslavian SKS
  20. The biggest assorment of gloves I've seen is at Lowes, in the gardening department. This may be out of season now! I like a very thin and tight glove for shooting my little, snappy abrasive pistols. Gloves are not needed with larger guns.
  21. I heard on the news that the government intranet which contains all the classified information is accessible by 2 million government employees. Seems to me, that if info is classified top secret, only a few need to know people should have any way to access the material. In other words, USA government info security is really, really poor. So, this sort of thing is bound to happen. But I really don't trust governments in general, including the USA government. So, I say: open all the windows and let the light stream in. Don't let the corrupt cover up their corruption.
  22. I like my Yugo SKS.... Mousegunner's SKS Carbine Page
  23. A VERY interesting nice rifle. Might be worth adding to your collection!
  24. Stippling your grip is like getting a tattoo. Some like 'em, some don't. But you LIKE it, so that's what counts!
  25. The Chattanooga Times Free Press has a good classifed section for guns for sale.
