  1. Yah, it's a purty rifle. Put it up for sale at $200 and see what happens!
  2. Yah, my opinion is that at $200 you won't get many interested buyers. At $150 you should sell it fairly quick.
  3. If you live around Chattanooga, you really should check out Valu Pawn on Hwy 153, near North Park Memorial Hospital and across the highway from IHOP. They have a lot of pawned guns of all sorts, and a good selection of Jimenez and Hi-Points. They also have rifles and shotguns (pawned, nothing new).
  4. Paint it red and yellow. You will have the only one!
  5. Nope, for sideways shooting yo needs a GLOCK Fo-Tay! Nickel plated and bling, bling. Those guys with all the drug money don't buy little cheapo $100 guns!
  6. Shoot my eye out! Well, that's what Christmas is all about! But I refuse to stick my tongue on a frozen pipe!
  7. I picked up a couple of pocket plinkers at ValuPawn in Chattanooga this week, a JA25 and a JA22. $109.99 each. The 25 is a good shooter! I haven't had a chance yet to fire the 22. Here's a couple of pix....first the .22....then the .25...
  8. Whichever you get, it's a great flat-shooting round. Be sure to wear your ear plugs!
  9. That's wonderful! I hope you have a long and rewarding experience learning about guns and self-defense! Remember to eat cheetos while walking around WalMart with your permit. Fritos will do, also.
  10. No matter whom you talk with about this, you will get a different answer. Both can be fine pistols. The Kel-Tec trigger is harder to pull, and is double-action only - but some consider that a plus - some a minus.

    ak-47?

You can't beat a MAK-90. If you hate the thumbhole stock, it's easy to replace. Norinco MAK-90 Model of the Kalashnikov AK-47
  12. Send it to the manufacturer, and ask for replacement! You never know?
  13. Congrats on your purchase. Now how about some pictures of your nice new revolver! And who is Flutterby?
  14. Watch out! Looks like an evil black assault rifle!

    sks prices

A Chinese or Yugo SKS in excellent condition should sell for around $250. A Russian or Albanian in excellent condition might sell for $400 or $500, because they are collectible.
  16. I saw this on another forum. Sad, but funny...
  17. Looks like a long barreled shotgun at first glance.
  18. Do you like Moby Dick? "Call me Ishmael" is from that book.
  19. The December Classified Gun Ads in the Chattanooga Times Free Press are now being posted... Chattanooga Times Free Press Guns Classified Ads
  20. How about $79.99 at the Armory.... The Armory: Mosin Nagant, mosin nagant rifle, mosin nagant m44,mosin nagant scope mount, mosin nagant part, mosin nagant scope, mosin nagant m44 carbine, mosin nagant stripper clip
  21. Well, go buy another one! They can still be had for under $150. Keep the stock and bolt, etc., for spare parts. You won't be out much!
  22. Do NOT use alcohol! A little mineral spirits and gentle rubbing with very fine steel wool will do the trick.
  23. It's the collector bug. The SKS comes from many different countries, many variations, and people have fun collecting them. And a few years ago they were cheap!
  24. Thanks, JT!
  25. This is for anyone thinking about getting an SKS, and needing more information... Mousegunner's SKS Carbine Page
