  1. I'd really like to see this win.  Not just for 2A reasons or anything like that.  Just simple common sense.  Reading the text of the suit makes it clear that the ATF is wrong.
  2.     I would agree with that.  I don't have it on me today to show a pic or anything but I think it lines up nicely for the index finger.
  3. Thanks for popping in Les!
  4. Yes they do.
  5. I told Les about this and he has signed up for the site. He should be along shortly to throw a comment or two around.
  6.     Yeah.  I had my buddy Pete Gray yank out the skull and put in the cobalt disc.  I'm not big on skulls.   And Les said last week that he sent ProTech a new prototype rock eye so I think there is going to be another model on the horizon.  Or an update.
  7.     I just mean is there a count thus far.  Cause if we aren't getting close to 50, then we need to recruit.
  8. Thanks Willis. I'm not crazy about the TGO logo on the side of it but I would like to celebrate. And I happen to love my ProTech GV Rockeye. Count me in and I would like #5 if possible. If not, I think my GV knife is number 14. Hooray for ProTech. Willis, do you know how many we currently have? I can possibly recruit more buyers if necessary.
  9. Depends on the Forearm. The nsr barrel nut doesn't block it. But I don't really plan on having to change it anyways.
  10. Would that be a problem?
  11. I used my fingers to install my last one. Pushed it on till it stopped and then tapped on it with the handle of a screwdriver. Went right on without issue. What someone ought to do is make a stepped rod. Just have the diameter step down. The c clip is just extra parts. Unnecessary.
  12.     Clearly a failure point.  Definitely going to have to send it back.
  13. I'm happy to hear that Willis.  Maybe I can pick one up down the road.
  14. I got glasses for the first time right before 5th grade.  And that was about a year late.  I never feel sorry for "old" people that have to get glasses.  I don't know what its like to actually be able to see.   But I do know what its like to get a change of prescription and have that slightly off feeling.  That part sucks!
  15. I got my Aim NiB V2 this weekend. I like it.
  16. I always used a razor blade.  But for my most recent, I bought the BAD takedown pins.  The front has a second shallower channel and a third detent spot.  The third spot will hold the detent (with a magnet on the back side) and then you just slide it all together.  I will be using these on all future builds.  Stupid simple.      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9YFMjFHqts
  17.   Sundays are the only excluded days.     From the legislature's website.  http://www.capitol.tn.gov/about/billtolaw.html   SIGNED BY GOVERNOR The Governor may sign the bill; veto it; or allow it to become law without his signature. The Governor is allowed ten days (Sundays excepted) after a bill is presented to him to approve or veto the bill; if he takes no action within that period, the bill becomes a law without his signature. The Governor also has constitutional authority to reduce or disapprove any sum of money appropriated in any bill while approving other portions of such bill. If the Legislature is still in session, the Governor returns all bills and joint resolutions to the house of origin after he has taken action. After adjournment of the General Assembly, bills are returned by the Governor to the Office of the Secretary of State. If the Governor has vetoed a bill or reduced or disapproved an appropriation within a bill, the veto can be overridden, or reduced or disapproved sums of money restored, by a majority vote of the membership to which each body is entitled under the Constitution.
  18.     Again, it depends on how they count.  He either has until today or tomorrow to sign or veto.  If he does neither, it passes without signature and will go into effect July 1st.
  19. Chucktshoes nailed it.  This removes any restrictions for bladed instruments.       And I still want a katana, and a broadsword (Ned Stark's maybe?) regardless of what Chucklehead says.
  20. Mailed it off in July.  Can't remember the exact date.  Check was cashed in August and I can't log in to see when.  Pending 9/11/13.  Approved 4/7/14!
  21. While I can agree with that, I still want knives from my friends.  I've gotten to be good friends with a lot of the TN makers.
  22. Yeah it will. I like those goat beads. Need to order me a few.
  23. Yeah I want a green one but I can't until after my orders come up.
  24. No. This bill only deals with knives and not impact weapons.
