  1. The stradale was the road going version, sold to regular people for the purpose of meeting the production requirement of WRC at the time. It was a production car. And it wasn't alone, there were others in the same period, I just think that it was the most popular.
  2. I'd say homologation of group b rally cars is mainstream. Maybe not here in the states, because right turns, but certainly everywhere else in the world.
  3. Try 30 years or so. 1985 Lancia Delta S4 Stradale was twincharged. And I think it dates back even farther in some diesel applications.
  4. And I have a problem with that too. The problem is that every genre becomes profitable at some point. And then the "machine" takes over and it becomes pop. Some would say that the lines get blurred, but thats not the case. Whatever genre we are talking about just gets closer and closer until its on the line and basically is pop. Country has become that genre. Its pop now. There is still country out there, but you have to search for it. You won't find it on the radio, or CMT or even on one of the fifteen country awards shows.

    Titans

Big Titans fan and I can't stand this. for the first time maybe ever, I intentionally didn't watch the Dolphins game. I just find it hard to care anymore. The program is terrible and has shown no signs of getting better. I hate football
  6. I saw this on Facebook recently and my comment was something along the lines of over half of those people have never sung a country song.
  7. So shields are about 279? I might try one at that price. But why are you comparing a 26 to a 19. Not really great comparisons.

    Go Vols!

Mistakes galore packed on top of injury and still nearly managed to sneak out another. If Butch could just clean them boys up, they might be worth something at the end of the season.
  9. This isn't new. These are the same issues most people had with the standard American Pistol.
  10. I haven't ever messed with the quads yet. I fly helis and have been looking to upgrade to a 3d machine. The skill level jumps way up when you start getting into acrobatic helis though. But from everything I've seen, any quad worth the money has enough gyro stabilization and tracking that its almost impossible to not be good.
  11. When all this started back in 2014, HK Parts sent out a letter saying that this would not affect the company and everything would be business as usual. So don't worry, nothing changed.
  12. I didn't think it was necessary to drag that argument over into this thread too. But as for the video here, you should watch it. I watched a few hours ago so I could be wrong, but he wasn't cutting it that close. As a guy who rides, I can tell you that I leave myself plenty of room but from watching those same lane changes from a car's point of view, it looks closer than it is. There are a lot of guys that ride like idiots but that isn't exclusive to bikes. Plenty of idiots in cars too. When I ride, I'm very mindful of laws and I try my best to never speed and I don't lane split or use the shoulder, but there have been times when it was simply not safe for me to do so. I was almost hit by a car doing 60 because I was at the end of a traffic jam on the interstate. I got very lucky. I've sat in 90+ degree weather on the interstate in stand still traffic on an air cooled bike. I got burns on my legs and was lucky I didn't damage my engine. If it was legal, I would have lane split or used the shoulder to get off the interstate and take a route that would have let air move over the engine. In the case of the guy in the video, I don't think he was doing anything major, I think its more likely that riding that way just gave them the excuse they needed to pull the guy over. At least around Memphis, bikers are targeted because a lot of them don't have M endorsements or tags, or both. Cops look for any reason to pull them over hoping that they will score a guy with a warrant or meet their quota of income for the month.
  13. Sadly, that isn't always the case (working out fine), but it does lessen the chances of a bad incident.
  14. Love bacon. But never really understood drinking. I don't really get anything out of it and it's way more expensive than the nectar that is sweet tea. I know we've talked about legalizing weed in this thread but I've never even tried it. My vices are usually something that has to do with cars, computers, guns or lego. Drinking and smoking just weren't for me.
  15. In my world, everything that doesn't affect another person is legal, so although I don't partake, I'll raise my sweet tea and enjoy the fellowship.
  16. Because it's the law is not a valid reason. Y'all like to use sheeple or sheep to refer to people that want more gun control but look at you. You are using "because its the law" as an argument for why something is bad.
  17. No the community is not. There is no victim. How was the community harmed? You said it yourself, no traffic and a cop that merely saw me. No one has been harmed in any way.
  18. No the community is not. There is no victim. How was the community harmed? You said it yourself, no traffic and a cop that merely saw me. No one has been harmed in any way.
  19. YOU FINALLY GET IT!!!! I think that a few of us aren't merely trying to argue that anything shouldn't be illegal, but are trying to make people think about what starts the interaction to begin with and is that thing so egregious that it justifies taking someone's life to enforce it?
  20. and again, nazis were employed to kill jews and black people, they were just doing their job. THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT RIGHT!!!!
  21. And we just keep going in circles. Again, the police knew he was felon just by looking at him? And taking it back further, being a felon and having a gun SHOULD NOT be a crime, just like weed. None of that matters. We won't ever get anywhere because y'all think the way you have been conditioned to think and we think very differently.
  22. You did it on purpose.
  23. You are making me regret my choices.
  24. I gave mine to a friend. I want it back.
  25. And that is where E would chime in and tell you how simply being a police officer has made you the bad guy. I'm not on the same level that he is, but I do think it is the responsibility of every officer, just as it is the responsibility of every of every one of us to decide, is what that person doing so egregious that it warrants the use of force up to and including taking that person's life? If you wouldn't say yes as a regular person, why are you okay with giving that power to the state's enforcers? There is no crime until after it is been committed. Otherwise, we end up living in the minority report world where just thinking it makes you a criminal.
