  1. And here is another bad review of a Rebel.
  2. I like Kidd products. I have a bare receiver thats going to get a Kidd single stage.
  3. No thanks.
  4. In the 90's Knights Armament company had a small contract run with the government to produce a suppressed M9. The gun featured a clip on suppressor for quick attachment and sights mounted on the can itself. The gun also had a slide lock that prevented the slide from moving, effectively making it a single shot. Its a really neat system. Now, there are rumors that KAC will be re-releasing these this year. They had a barrel and can setup on display at SHOT. In addition, B&T looks to be releasing a VP9 this year. Its a bolt action suppressed 9mm that they claim will be as quiet as 117dB with subsonic ammo.
  5. Bernie Sanders response is telling people that the bill hasn't been introduced.
  6. oops. double post.
  7. The company that owns RBBB owns several other touring acts including disney on ice and marvel on ice. They will have no problem making money. And I'm sure that the preserve is setup as a nonprofit and will not have an issue getting support as such. Shriners getting drunk? No......hahah How is it any different than using them solely for work or to make you feel better about being alone (companionship). As long as they aren't abused, whats the difference in training an elephant to stand on his hind legs and training a horse to pull a plow?
  8. An industry friend of mine posted good things about it from SHOT. I trust him so I am in to at least try one out.
  9. They have been selling the 22 cans to dealers for 50 dollars. Several of those dealers have been posting on Facebook that they blew up the can with the first mag. Baffle strikes on a 22 are harder to notice. But what it boils down to is just horrible product QC. Also, the design is crap. You are stacking tolerances by screwing all of the baffles together. Its crap and its going to leave a lot of first timers frustrated and angry at the experience and they are likely to avoid NFA or at least suppressors altogether after that experience.
  10. Please no-one buy one of their cans. Especially for a first can. Don't do it!!!!
  11. Announced last year. Vaporware for a year. Now they are saying shipping this April and at an MSRP of $1499, it will include a holster.
  12. IoT is the hot ticket for "hackers" these days. So just be careful if you start loading up your house with IoT devices. The good news, though, is that router and firewall companies are paying attention and building some great devices specifically to protect your IoT home. A lot of devices announced this past weekend at CES.
  13. I carry a SAK every day and sometimes rotate it out for a case. I grew up on slip joints and they still hold a special place in my heart. A lot of the big custom tactical makers have gotten into slippies lately too.
  14. ASA posted that the bill has been reintroduced.
  15. Wonder how long till the threaded models show up.
  16. Terrible law. Can't they figure out that we have enough laws and what we need now is to start getting rid of them? I feel bad for people that live in places like Bartlett. If you have a car that's visible from the street, it has to be tagged, running or not. So now it has to be insured to be tagged. What a waste! Screw you Nashville!

My only complaint with most of them is that they are reciprocating. Other than that, I've not really seen any complaints from anyone.
  18. If you don't want a hassle, don't get an FFL. The system is stacked against us and FFL holders should be our advocates. While I can understand that they need to run a business, should be on our side as well. They are just the special few that chose to delve deeper into that hassle.
  19. You mean we shouldn't trust the people that got them in advance and for free? I concur.
  20. You are reading a lot into what I didn't say. I'm going to make this sentence as clear as possible and hopefully you won't read the part that I don't write. THEY REBOX THE PACKAGE SO THAT IT CAN GET TO ITS DESTINATION.
  21. They aren't trying to hide anything.
  22. This isn't new. Its been going on as long as their have been shipping companies.
  23. Not necessarily. If the original shipping label is intact, it can be reused. If its not, but there is enough to reprint a label, then they will reprint it at the hub.
  24. They aren't doing anything under the table. They are following policy. Go to a UPS or FedEx store and ask them what happens if a box is damaged to the point that stuff starts falling out? I used to work in Shipping and Receiving for the company I'm with now. I've received three hundred cassettes in a trash bag before with the original shipping label loose inside the bag. This is just part of their of their policy and the way that they operate. They aren't covering anything up, they are doing their jobs. The fact that some of the individual boxes of ammo were missing their boxes completely, and you were 60 rounds short, combined with the box that is obviously way too big, has all of the signs of a damaged rebox at a shipping hub.
  25. I don't think it left PSA like that. I'm not positive because you didn't post good pics of the box but I would be willing to bet that the original box was damaged, likely from water and one of its stops and it started coming out of the box. UPS or FedEx would have then repackaged everything that they had there and let it continue on to its destination. They can't refuse a package for you so they let you do it when you get it. Having worked at Fed for some time, thats what it looked like to me.
