I was talking to some friends the other day and we were discussing online orders and they compared a price to another and said something about tax. I told them that my policy has always been to assume that they will charge me tax and then just be pleasantly surprised if they didn't. I never let that influence my decision of who to do business with because they are just trying to cover their tails.

According to their instagram and the Scorpion Facebook group, they have already shipped the first batch. I personally don't like the micro or k conversions because I think they are too small. But I also think its amazing that a company saw what the aftermarket was doing and they said, hey, we can offer that from the factory. I love my scorpion SBR. You will love the thing. -
I don't really see it. It doesn't mount back over the barrel. It has moving internals and I've never seen an OSS that looked like a heat sink.

Looks like TBAC is launching a bipod. https://www.recoilweb.com/thunder-beast-launches-tbac-bipod-shot-2019-144903.html Kind of looks like it is somewhere in between some Harris offerings and Atlas offerings.

Well this is interesting. A suppressor with what sounds like moving parts. I'm very interested in seeing more from this as it becomes available. https://www.recoilweb.com/state-of-the-art-with-mad-minute-suppressors-146133.html

Dude, I think its time to retire. Maybe take a desk job. Hey @Chucktshoes, maybe this thread is appropriate to discuss the militarization of police, overuse of SWAT and what that has to do with the war on drugs.

Regarding Traffic Stops & Action After Self Defense
Capbyrd replied to a topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I disagree with DaveTN on this. Cops aren't there for you. They work for the prosecutors. I bet its a rare occurrence for a defense attorney to have a cop as a star witness. But the prosecutors sure will. Don't give the cops/prosecution anymore than you absolutely have to until you have an advocate of your own. -
It would be Gallatin, not Franklin. And I don't know that the Gallatin plant has made any. I don't think these guns are big sellers so they may do small runs every few years rather than constant production.

I don't see the new hipoint being in demand enough to be at msrp or higher. I expect street price to start at 150 ish. Of course its all speculation. Also, the shield and the hi point are different categories. Pocket guns to full size.
-
That's not uncommon. They do it by giving massive tax breaks to the company and then raising property taxes for the rest of the population.
-
People that buy hi-points typically aren't online shoppers. And lets not forget that by the time you actually get that PSA gun home, you are likely in it for at least 300.

I don’t think heating up the aluminum is an issue. I’ve watched videos of people running to the point that the gas tube melted and the aluminum receivers were fine. But I get your point.

Hudson was originally supposed to display at SHOT Show but their area is empty and they were removed from the exhibitors list. Recoil reached out to them to ask about it and they responded that they couldn't afford to make the trip. They do mention being sued and having a dispute with a parts supplier. Recoil also found the lawsuit. The part supplier is claiming that they were not paid over 300,000 dollars for parts that they delivered. Hudson also lost an investor just before they were supposed to receive that funding. Hudson could be in serious trouble. Please read the article at the link to see more. Apparently they can't fix warranty guns and return them right now either. https://www.recoilweb.com/recoil-exclusive-hudson-responds-to-shot-no-show-145454.html

Is the ejection the only sign of overgas that you have? Is your brass dented at all? If you have an adjustable gas block and the next setting down won't properly cycle the bolt, I'd lean towards your issue not be overgassing but something else.

I live in Shelby but my land is in McNairy.

Yep. Those were all limited runs though. These are a permanent line.

No positives in my area yet. Still in the management zone though.

Glow in the dark AR safety lever

Hush! Don't spoil the SHOT Show 2020 reveal. -
This wouldn't be competing with Core Lokt. This would be a competitor to something along the lines of Federal Premium loaded with the Sierra GameKing. I fully expect this to be priced similarly to those loads.

You kind of touch on this at around 30 minutes but I guess you could say that I operate at the most grassroots level. I try very hard to introduce people to shooting. I I encourage them to come with me and try out what they hate so much. I've changed some minds and I've also had some incredible conversations about guns and laws. I think its great.

Those wouldn't happen to be antigun bills would they? Because that wouldn't surprise me.

That's what I was looking at. I'm hoping to have gone through a few boxes before deer season hits again and that it performs like I expect it. If so, I'm looking forward to trying out this new bullet on something edible.

I've needed some stuff to feel good about lately and this hit the spot today. https://wreg.com/2019/01/22/girls-dad-and-soon-to-be-stepdad-pose-with-her-before-dance/ This is what its supposed to be like. It's not their fault that yall couldn't make it work. Grow up and figure out how to act like an adult so that you can make that kid's world as great as it possibly can be. Stop punishing them for your mistakes. The fact that this is on our local station even though its from Waco hints at it being "viral." I hope that a lot of people see this and learn from it.
