  1. I don't believe that you can compare them purely by weight. I know people that don't smoke an entire marijuana cigarette in a sitting but will inhale three or four tobacco cigarettes at a time. As for your last little bit there, you keep harping on that but have yet to provide any evidence of an increase in crime. You keep trying to insult other's intelligence by saying that they lack common sense if they don't agree but you have yet to back it up with any studies, anecdotes or evidence of an actual crime increase in any place that it is legal.
  2. Which grip angle? It comes in two different versions.
  3. I'm a Ruger fan boy and have never denied it. Between the two, you can't go wrong. It's going to come down to cost at that point. Which are you more comfortable dropping cash on. Depending on what kind of single action you got, you could still have enough money to get an accurizing kit and give the Ruger a better trigger. Or maybe an optic. Or any number of other things. But the Smith 41 is a classic. I tell you want, give me all your gun money, and then I can make the decision for you.
  4. There is valid reason to think that prohibition and crime are linked. And then your last sentence has as much to do with it as anything. If actual crime is prosecuted and properly punished, crime rates will drop. We need massive criminal justice reform. Start with getting rid of THOUSANDS of laws. An easy way to tell will be is there a victim, other than the state. If the answer is no, then its not a crime, delete it from the books. After that, start actually punishing people convicted of a crime. Give public defenders a chance to actually familiarize themselves with cases and the ability to mount a proper defense. Prison reform also needs to happen. Every prison should be self sustaining. How they make that happen, I don't care. But the prison system should never cost law abiding citizens.
  5. Let's just take those first couple a step farther and anyone that does 1 mile per hour over the speed limit also has NO regard for the law and is probably gonna axe murder everyone they meet.
  6. Plenty of people have jobs. Per the Trump lovers, more than ever! I would imagine that, much like alcohol, they use their paychecks to feed their hobbies. Kinda like gun owners. I think most people on this board probably use jobs to pay for their fun time.
  7. Blackout is designed to burn all powder in a 9 inch barrel. I don't know of any other cheaper cartridges that can do the same.
  8. I believe that we as humans have a moral obligation not to infringe on each other's liberty and sovereignty. Your chosen occupation does not exempt you from that.
  9. You made it clear that the GOVERNMENT (your way of typing it) was to blame, and not you. You said that they made it "incumbent" on you to enforce it. Incumbent, or necessary. Most cops I interact with love to tell me they are just doing their job and play like they are victims to the evil legislators. If that's not your position, sorry for lumping you in.
  10. I don’t understand the need to classify things as terrorist orgs or hate crimes. Punish the crime correctly and we don’t need this classification bullcrap. That ain’t always true. Plenty of innocent men have been incarcerated, put to death or even just had their assets seized.
  11. I've never been high. So pretty unlikely that I would have been. Even when I could really use some medical drugs, I have a hard time finding anything that has an affect on me.
  12. Whoever it was made it clear that drug users were evil and gonna rob or murder us all if we legalized drugs. And if all you can attack is my misspelling of a word, you are focusing on the wrong thing. I before E except after C is used to teach elementary school kids but it has so many exceptions that it isn't worth using. Just out of curiosity and not bashing or anything but are you a touch typer? I type all day, every day and average near triple digit WPM. I often type without looking at what I'm typing and I don't always catch my mistakes when reading afterwards. Thank you for catching my mistake.
  13. You made the choice to enforce it. You chose that. Don't make yourself a victim.
  14. Pretty sure it was Dave. Doesn't matter though. So many republicans agree with that sentiment.
  15. You and me. The good law abiding citizens. All drug users are theives and murderers. If you don't believe me, look through some other threads and you'll see that some former cops said so.
  16. That sign has been there for YEARS! I thought it odd when I first saw it and then realized it wasn't talking about carried firearms, but rather for guns coming in for scope mounting and the like.
  17. We've discussed that car on here before.
  18. Only made it two days so far. I saw 5 does on opening day of rifle (Unit CWD) and only one gave me a shot. I missed. Next time out, I saw nothing. I heard them getting busy but it wasn't on my land or where I could see. But never saw anything. Heading back out this weekend.
  19. Owner is not LEO. If you want something, go to their site. They have good prices on the site.
  20. Hey, we agree with something. Both of these cases were bad examples.
  21. That's not what happened, and 190 is way higher than coffee normally is served. Also, during the investigation, the McDonald's in the area were found to be keeping their coffee above 204 degrees. The lady was in the passenger seat of a parked car putting her cream and sugar in her cup when it spilled. The car was not in motion. The lady was awarded the victory because McDonald's was in fact serving something unreasonably harmful to the public. If their coffee had been a normal temperature, her injuries wouldn't have been as bad and she would not have won her suit.
  22. I don't think so. This case is about advertising practices. This same suit has happened time and time again with tobacco companies and they didn't get forced to make less cancerous cigarettes.
  23. In the two cases you mentioned, it wasn't the individual's fault. Ford recommended tire pressures that were inconsistent with the abilities of the tire. So doing what you were supposed to resulted in catastrophic failure. In the McDonald's case, the stores were found to be keeping coffee at temperatures far higher than safe. They were serving coffee at something like 190 degrees Fahrenheit. At that temperature, third degree burns happen in around three seconds. Those weren't frivolous suits at all.
  24. I swear on a jury trial I could beat every single one of yall in court. I say again, the only time residency is mentioned is while applying. And even that has an exception listed.
