I'm not talking about whatever rules they are making up for the current situation. I'm talking about the actual purpose of the mask pre-pandemic. Surgical staff don't wear PPE including masks to protect themselves from your nasty insides. They wear the stuff, including the surgical mask that a ton of people are wearing now, to prevent parts of them from getting into the "sterile field" (their patient." Again, I am neither promoting mask wear or denouncing it. I am merely applying definitions to words.

You ever find your way to Memphis I have a craftsman from the 50s ish that I would let go of. I have zero experience with Wen products. But Ive seen a lot of them popping up lately. They seem to come out of the same Chinese factories as harbor freight and other cheap china stuff but are getting some pretty good reviews. I'd give them a chance if I had to. He talks about it in the history of Grizzly video. Good watch.

Well they are preaching frequent hand washing and distancing and what not. People just can't hear that over their mask bias.
-
How do you know they aren't? I'm not saying wear a mask or don't. I'm only trying to correct this incorrect notion that surgical masks are to protect you from something. That simply isn't how they work.

SURGICAL MASKS ARE NOT INTENDED TO PROTECT THE WEARER FROM ANYTHING!!!! SURGICAL MASKS ARE INTENDED TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT FROM THE WEARER!

I'm not competing yet but I fully intend to make it up to a match or two.

F1 suppressor, in progress

Like I said, I wasn't talking about the ATF. They KNOW me. I was talking about the companies that ATF will raid and shut down the first chance that they get. -

Oh I'm not talking about the ATF. I'm talking about the "solvent trap" company. ATF hates 80% suppressors and will eventually find a way to raid them just like they did with that 80% ar receiver company. When they do, I don't want my name in the customer records. -

No thank you. I'm not interested in having my name in one of their books. -

Billy Cho is my go to for anything AK related. I don't think you will find many people that know the AK better or with a deeper passion. He uses the name Iron Born Armory for his gunsmithing work. I don't think he ever got his website up and running but you can find him on facebook or instagram. https://sharpsbros.com/iron-born-armory/

Wow. That's really high up there. You should keep looking around for mounting solutions. I know that the Burris mount is much closer to flush and I know it works with the Burris dots and the Vortex dots. Maybe you can adapt one of these to your holosun if it doesn't use the same hole pattern? Oh, even better. I just found the same style mount for your dot while I was looking for a picture to share. https://farrow.tech/ruger-mkii-iii-iv-low-profile-red-dot-moun/

You know for certain that you aren't positive or carrying the necessary germs to infect someone else?

I understand the purpose of the masks. I do my best to limit the time that I have to be in public places (but that's not new). I know that doctors and people say that masks don't affect your ability to breathe. But as a morbidly obese massive man, I disagree. I have trouble breathing on a good day. With a mask on and sweating profusely, my comfort level drops to zero percent and I start having issues. I hate the current state of the world and I wish we could either just all agree that we are going to let this thing kill us all or have a vaccine or whatever their feel good is so we can back to the old normal.

Not hard to find out. She is a burlesque performer.

I might be trying to get rid of a scout scope in the not too distant future.

The mask isn't stopping the virus. It's stopping your spittle from getting on everything everywhere you go. It actively slows the spread by lessening your impact on the environment around you. It has nothing to do with protecting you from anything. It's the same reason that surgeons and surgery staff wear the masks.

I really enjoyed Deputy and am sad that it got cancelled. It was probably the second best cop show on TV behind The Rookie. While there was some mildly liberal stuff in it, for a show set in LA, the main character was incredibly conservative. The CW as a whole is aimed at teen girls. That is nothing new. Every show they have ever had has been that way. Blue Bloods is a stalwart and will be used to try and "bridge the divide" in the upcoming season. I can almost guarantee it.

This is pretty absurd.
