  1. https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1775413129145758&id=167951053225315 Here is my fedora from Buckaroo. Again, I really recommend visiting this shop, even if you don't buy a hat.
  2. I have a fedora from Buckaroo and intend to get a cowboy cut next time I have some money. I recommend EVERYONE interested in a hat visit the shop.
  3. Second and final price drop. $200
  4. A friend asked me to install his new DD M4 RIS II FSP. But the rail didn't come with the wrench it was supposed to. Rather than wait for a wrench to arrive, I found a cheap castle nut wrench in my tool drawer that I don't use because I can't put it on torque wrench. It wouldn't fit but I figured it would be easy enough to file it down to fit. That took just a few seconds with the file and it fit good enough. Now I set myself to creating a hole in it for the torque wrench. I started by drilling out a hole with a 7/16" drill bit. Then I used a triangle file to make it square and then work it out to size. I should have taken pictures at each step but I didn't so here are some pictures after I'd been filing for a while. Yeah, my square is crooked but it doesn't really matter. The point was to be able to get it on to the torque wrench. Worked perfectly for getting this barrel nut torqued down. And now I have a wrench for that rail if I ever need it again.
  5. Ignorance doesn't make negligence an accident.
  6. All of you seem to forget that there are four rules and they can never be ignored. Ignorance is not a defense. 1. All guns are always loaded. 2. Never point a gun at anything you aren't willing to destroy. 3. Finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot. 4. Know your target and what is beyond it. You can break any one of these rules and generally there are no severely negative consequences. The rules are designed that way. Sometimes we MUST break a rule (field stripping a glock for instance). But we should be cognizant of the other three rules in those cases. Alec broke three rules. He ignored rule one and broke rules two and three. Are other people culpable in this situation? Yes. But as firearms owners we should never try and justify someone else's negligence. I don't care that he doesn't know guns or like them. I don't care. He has to use one for his role so he should educate himself. He should be as close to an expert as he can get in the time allotted. Could you imagine a cop that didn't like guns just going on the force, or a security guard? Their dislike is NOT a defense to whatever bad action they might take. In a perfect world, the two shot wouldn't be anywhere near in front of the gun. There are remote controls and viewing devices that could have allowed them to be in a safe location. But we don't live in a perfect world. In this world, Alec, the person that handed him the gun, and the people in charge should be held responsible for this lady's death. Each of them is equally responsible.
  7. You must be talking about one of the old productions models. No way that this new production TPS Arms is "collector's" gun material.
  8. Someone did a half decent job beautifying that thing.
  9. Yeah but you’re on TGO. These aren’t the folks you admire and respect but rather the barrel of monkeys.
  10. They go in the woods just like the boys. They might ask for a bit more privacy but they ain’t pampered.
  11. Leave us alone, English is our second language!
  12. Bump. Dropped to $225.
  13. Looks like it. You can fit 6 2-3/4” shells in the tube but it’s a tad tight. It does work though which lends itself to being a 5 3” shell tube.
  14. Mechanically sound but cosmetically rough S&W 916 12 ga. New magazine spring in the tube. Inside is fine but the outside is a little rough with finish complete gone in some places and others showing rust. No deep pitting yet so it would make a great refinishing project or just keep some oil on it and use it a truck gun. I intended to cut it down to 18" and make a defensive shotgun out of it but I moved on to other projects. $250 $225 $200 ftf in or around Memphis.
  15. Most of you are likely aware of the flooding in Waverly TN this weekend. You might not be aware that we had a knife maker there in Waverly. Mark Kee owned a pawn/gun shop in town and made knives on the side. He, his wife and his mother-in-law were initially reported missing. Kim and her mother were found yesterday and Kim has been in the hospital. Mark’s body was found this morning. We lost a great man and friend. Please remember Mark, his family and all of those in Waverly in your prayers.

  17. Signed today. TFA says that they are waiting on the AG opinions on a few matters but that's about specifics details and not overalll legality.
  18. This can't be stated enough. I haven't lost a thing. I won't be giving up anything and I won't be going to jail. Whatever happens from here is not decided by me but I will certainly be the one to decide how it is going to end.
  19. MP5 touched on the fender. The 70's enduro bikes had high mounted fenders. They were also smaller engines. The jug in that picture looks huge compared to the 100s and 125s of the 70s. It's almost definitely a Honda but I just figure out what model.
  20. I wish I could figure out what kind of bike that is.
  21. @Chucktshoesnext vehicle purchase...
  22. Coenders Machine Gun. https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2017/11/14/forgotten-firearms-august-coenders/
  23. That's Leaspeed6. She loves me.
  24. Your second image show the Senate vote. "Floor vote : as amended." So you need to go to the senate version and click on the amendments tab. There are two. Amendment one was passed and amendment two was tabled. If you click on Amendment One, you will see the language that I quoted above.
