  1. Grabbed a bunch. Thanks for the link!
  2. Downloaded! Thanks!
  3. So can anyone help me identify a bayonet? I have these two bayonets that I inherited but I don't know anything about them. I was able to use the almighty internets to identify the short one (on the right) as a "1892 Krag-Jorgensen knife bayonet" that is stamped 1900. Sadly the scabbard on this bayonet is dented in a few places. The second bayonet (on the left), I have not been able to identify. It looks very similar to a Swiss 1889 but has that extra loop between the handle and the blade. Anyone have a clue what it is? I will try to get some better pictures. There really aren't any marks on it other than a serial number at the end of the handle and a symbol on the ricasso. The symbol looks like three cirles intersecting each other. I will try to take a decent pic of it. Thanks
  4. I have always kept mine fully loaded so that I have plenty ready to go for the Zombie Apocolypse. I have never had a problem. However, I shoot often enough and run through all of my magazines when I do, that I dont really have them constantly compressed for more than a couple of weeks. I have had some cheap magazines give me problems in the past while shooting but I just took them apart and stretched the spring a little and problems vanished. In my experience on different forums, it seems people are about 50/50 on this topic.
  5. All I have is a storage rack. Since I took this picture, I have added a 91/30 to my collection and an AR lower. I also have a M&P15-22 on order. So basically, I am now out of room and have NO idea what I am going to do next. I think I might buy one of those cheapish gun cabinets until I can afford a Browning tactical safe. Oh yeah, since I took the picture, I have added a shelf next to the rack that houses ammo, cleaning supplies and my handguns.
  6. Looks good man. I've got to figure out what to do for an upper now. I figure mine will be complete in October and then we need to go shoot. Edit: my LPK came in today. I was able to put everything together except the bolt catch and I still need to finish hammering in the trigger guard roll pin. Incredibly easy.

I've got a stripped CMMG lower sitting on my desk. My LPK will be here tomorrow and I'll be ordering my buttstock this week. As for what upper, I know it will be 5.56 and a 16 inch barrel but I have no clue outside of that. I still have alot to learn about twists and all that before I can decide how to spend my money on my upper.
  8. I'd love to see if we could set up something for some of the memphians. I haven't shot outside in years and miss it.
  9. Can I borrow it? Haha
  10. Welcome! I recognize the name and avatar from FTW. How's it going man?
  11. I know marlin and Henry both make some. Who else out there makes a nice lever .22?
  12. Sup G? Glad you made it over.
  13. Here Here!
  14. Glad to hear you got worked out because I decided on one of their uppers yesterday and will be ordering soon
  15. Thanks guys. I called the BATF today and requested a Form 7CR. I know it will take a while but after I get that back, I'll get one of these along with a few other things I've been wanting.
  16. Anyone have one of these? I saw it on AimSurplus today and it piqued my interest. I looked around and it looks like a really neat little revolver. I'd love to hear some first hand accounts of them. Also, if I decide to buy one, I'm a bit leary of buying something like that sight unseen. Is AimSurplus trustworthy enough to purchase from without having held the revolver in my hand? Thanks guys!
  17. I think I have changed my mind. I went and looked at a bunch of scopes this weekend and most of the ones that I looked out seemed like they would be too big for my little carbine. I decided to get a cheap truglo red dot to throw on top of it.
  18. I'd really like to add an ak to my collection one day but everytime I read a thread like this, I just get more confused and end up putting it off. Maybe I should just buy one find out for myself
  19. So what would it cost me to get my 10/22 receiver recoated?
  20. OMG! That is absolutely beautiful. I hate shooting a .45 1911 but will one day own one just because of the beauty!
  21. Wish I could make it. Would love to spend a little time on the range.
  22. Hows the build going? I bought a lower over the weekend and am ordering my LPK tomorrow. Ill have a complete lower before the end of the month but the upper is going to take a little longer.
  23. Got it guys. I can't believe this is normal and I never noticed it before. Oh well. I feel dumb now but at least my gun functions.
  24. Thanks guys. I bought this gun second hand and it didn't have a manual. It's difficult navigate the web from my phone so I will download the manual when I get to work. Also, it doesn't matter if it is an empty mag or a loaded mag. I can drop the mag out, load the mag, pull the slide back and lock it with the slide lock lever. Place the mag into the gun and drop the lever. The slide will move forward a fraction of an inch but will not close. It will not close no matter if it is an empty mag or a full mag. I will just call them on Monday and get it sorted with them.
  25. That's not what this is. The slide lock lever is in the down position. Something else is holding it back. Donfromtexas, thanks but I don't need your opinions about the gun. I haven't had a problem out of it before now and for the price I paid, I can't complain at all. This isn't a thread to bash the gun. I want advice on how to fix it. Thanks anyway though.
