  1. Capbyrd

    Ruger LCR KaBoom

This has nothing to do with the gun being plastic. The plastic part is fine. The part that KB'ed is metal.
  2. I have a shop in bartlett that takes care of my tires free of charge. I don't plug my own tires for that reason.
  3. Back in 2006, I had a car that was totalled in a hail storm. The dents would have required a new roof to be installed as well as new lights all around and new fenders and hood. No glass though. It came out to something in the neighborhood of 8000 dollars in damage on a car that was worth 6. I still owed on the car and the storm got me out of that note. I know first hand how bad hail can get. Today it started hailing at work near bartlett. All I could think about was my truck. I hope it didnt get too damaged.

  5. I know some "artists" and have asked them repeatedly why they paint other peoples property. I can assure you they didn't need the pfizer spot as an "out." They do it cause they are stupid and don't care about other peoples stuff. The sad thing is, most grafitti "artists" are actually incredibly talented. They just choose the wrong outlet.
  6. The way I figured it was that the way war was fought when these were in service was that the bayonet was never taken off. Therefore, a tight fit was ideal. I ended up using pliers to get mine off but it left marks. If I was going to try and make it easier, I would use a dremel and work slow in the bayonet. Incredibly slow. I probably wouldn't mess with the barrel at all in order keep the finish in tact. And actually, now that I think about it, I wonder if the bayonet was refinished at some point and possibly is a little thiner ID than it would have been originally.
  7. Mike, I had the same problem with mine. I gave up and just chose to not ever put it on.
  8. I just went through this a few weeks back myself. I highly recommend NOT shooting at things that react if you are dealing with someone scared or that doesn't like guns. They will see the reaction and become more terrified. Shoot at paper. Keep it simple. I started her out on my Ruger Standard. She is somewhat comfortable with it now but six shots of 9mm had her going back to the .22. Work her up at HER pace. Not yours. Be patient. Mine is still afraid of the rifle even though I told her it is easier than the pistol. She will get there but it has to be at her pace. I can't force her or I will turn her off from the sport for good.
  9. Capbyrd = MidSouth SCCA F-Stock driver of the year and Solo Worker of the Year. Having some off track fun. This is what I first started racing. Stock suspension and pretty much fully flexed out around this corner.
  10. 620 bucks will get you an M1 Garand shipped to your door. Best option out there
  11. Robert, If I was going to keep this gun, these are what would be going on it. Not necessarily in green but definitely these grips. Operators II
  12. Had a great time. Sorry I ran out of the range but it was friggin hot in there. And being a rather "husky" fella, (haha) I tend to overheat. I've known Kristin (Halfpint's lady friend) for a long time and yes she can definitely hold her own with the guys. Great day of shooting for sure.
  13. Kristin that I know? Kristin W.?
  14. I just saw this. Ill try to make it. I have done some work to the 10/22 and the Standard so its likely just .22 for me as well. Chance, remind me. haha
  15. There are a lot of these popping up lately and some are even cheaper and come in blonde as well. I love the idea and will probably build one of these since the carbines are way out of my price range right now.
  16. Yay Gladiator part II. Ill pass. Accent or not, Prince of Thieves will always be my favorite Robin Hood.
  17. For screenshots, press the home button and power button at the same time. It will take a screenshot and drop it in the Camera Roll folder.
  18. I dont know where you are so I cant help with the local thing.
  19. I dont know much about scopes but a friend recently bought a Vortex Viper. For the price, I thought it seemed an extremely excellent value. Its not illuminated though so if thats what you want, I dont think his model would work for you but its definitely worth checking out.
  20. Its a copy of a Garand action right?
  21. Leaving a spring compressed or uncompressed will not effect it. Springs only wear out from use or corrosion.
  22. Raleigh. But I don't currently have a weekly neighborhood fish fry. If my tax money goes to create a hatchery however, I would demand the spoils of my tax dollars so that I could have a weekly neighborhood fish fry. haha
  23. I'm all for it if they will provide me free catfish every weekend for my weekly neighborhood fish fry!
  24. I saw Zombie a few years back when he was on tour with Ozzy. FANTASTIC show!
