Yeah the survivor thing sucks. But shooting their name is awesome. Notes from last night. 30 shots or more and can't hit a rather large target at 100 yards? You probably shouldn't have been on the show in the first place. And I agree that people taking up for him on reputation was garbage. 22 year old can shoot. I didn't think shooting the smily face was cocky. Its his discipline. He got familiar with the gun and had some fun. Isn't that why most of us shoot? Cause its fun? The lone woman probably won't last long. Its usually not a good sign when you can't find the target through a spotting scope.

I will vote 10/22 every time. Everyone makes a big deal about them not being accurate out of the box but I would have to disagree. Mine is a 1974 model that was bought new by my dad. Until about 6 months ago, it was bone stock and probably hadn't been cleaned in 15 years. Now it has a new style mag release and a volquartsen exact edge extractor. neither of them were necessary but I like to tinker. The rifle shoots as well as I do or better. You just can't go wrong with the 10/22

Memphis is a big city. And my dad walked around this place like it was a small town. I swear he knew several cops in every station and fireman/emt on every shift at every station. If there were lights and sirens, dad was following them and knew someone on the scene. I probably should have gone into one of those professions.
