  1. I was shooting out in Oakland on a friends property once. He has a creek behind his place and we were all shooting down into the creek. We made a firing line and would all pop off at once. (KimberChick was there). About half an hour in, a lone officer shows up and told us that he had complaints from the neighbors. But the only thing he could tell us was to keep the noise down. Basically just one gun at a time and we would be fine.
  2. While you were using Bender here on TGO long before myself, I have been using Bender for several years on various other forums. I do concede, though, that you were first here.
  3. I watched Life for a while. But then one of my other shows moved into the same timeslot so I gave it up. One of my all time favorites. It got a little too political towards the end for me but I still enjoyed it. I really wish they would bring it back. Loved 3rd Rock. YIPEE! Bender is awesome! I really liked Southland. I hate that it had such a short run. But NBC is really bad about canceling the good ones. A few that I wish would come back. Flashforward (I just want to know what friggin happened) Torchwood Primeval
  4. So I've been waiting on someone to post up about this and haven't seen it. I went out Sunday and got to put a few rounds through a Scorpion. I must say that I really liked the extended slide release. I also just generally liked the pistols in general. As I told Tom while I was there, I will be saving up for a scorpion or whatever model lightweight in 9mm. I've been jonesing for a 9mm 1911 for a while and as soon as I get the money saved up, I'll be looking in the direction of C.O. Arms.
  5. Where did this info come from? I purchased the gun below from them back in January.

    Futurama

Indeed! Fun episode. I can't wait for the next one.
  7. Ill always be posting my thoughts about the episode right after I watch. I have to ask, why was Jim even there? Has she shot anything well? In practice, it looked like he had the ar on top of his shoulder. And during the competition, he was holding the bottom of the magazine. WTF?
  8. I was pretty upset that they used fiberglass. That was pretty garbage to me.
  9. I think I'm going to miss this one. Soccer starts at 1. I will not be missing this game.
  10. But not for the same money. To me, they don't cost enough to justify selling to get something else.
  11. I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would want to get rid of them. They may be heavy and ugly but they are great reliable guns.

Well if you are a distance shooter, it will help you with your DOPE and make calculations for you. Since I am not a distance shooter and don't shoot for sub MOA accuracy most of the time, its worthless to me.
  13. I almost had an ND recently. I got really lucky. I'm still not sure why it happened like this. My Glenfield 12 guage pump action was waiting for some range time. So I took it down off the rack and was getting it ready to load in the bag and head out. I checked the tube and it was empty but I couldn't budge the action. I tried everything and couldn't get it to move. So I figured I would pull the trigger. It should reset everything and I'll be good. I DO NOT keep the shotgun loaded so nothing should have happened. So I pulled the trigger and I was right. Nothing happened. Pumped the action and a round flies out of the chamber. WTF?! Apparently, the firing pin DID NOT hit the primer cause there was no mark. I still don't know why it didnt. I have fired a lot more rounds through it including the one that was chambered and didn't have a problem. I just got really lucky. I found out that my brother in law grabbed the wrong gun one day and put mine back with a chambered round. He has since moved to FL so I don't have to worry about him effin with my guns again.
  14. On my dual 20 inch widescreens, it is definitely the longest autoloader i have ever seen.

Just not worth the money for me. But im cheap. The only paid app that I have is BulletFlight from KAC. I regret buying that.
  16. Jeff, give me a call or shoot me a text to remind me.
  17. I currently carry a P89. I love this gun.

    Apple iOS 4

I don't have to resize the screen very often and rarely hit the wrong link. I guess I'm just cheap because 4 bucks is too much for me. If it were 99 cents then I might buy it.

    Apple iOS 4

I intend to. But its still ridiculous that my less than two year old phone NEEDS to be replaced. I don't understand Tapatalk. I can view forums just fine from Safari and it's free. Why would I want to pay for that?
  20. Yes please!
  21. Yep. It's that bad. I really wanted to like it.
  22. Most certainly. I grew up around North. I still live in that area too. I know several officers over there and have been known to go up there to work out. I was bit bummed when I heard about the name changes.

    Apple iOS 4

Im using a 3G and I hate iOS4 right now. My phone is now incredibly slow and every app crashes regularly. Garbage.
  24. That makes sense. But for the record, all of the precincts have been renamed. They don't use North, East, etc now. They are named for the road they are on.
  25. Well Memphis Beat sucks. I wanted to like it but they just got so much stuff wrong. They could have taken the time to get the cop cars right. We don't have "wards" here either. Just so wrong. Really made me sad.
