I'm kinda there now. I listen to a very eclectic mix of music from every generation. But no matter how clearly they enunciate or how well they write lyrics, if they can't sing properly, I am not spending my money on them. Which is why I have never and will never own a Bob Dylan record and Johnny Cash's American Records volumes suck!

So I gave it another shot. I'm pretty much completely out now. The police cars dont even have the right graphics. The geography mentioned in the show is way off. I just can't take it anymore. Big let down.

Memphis is not being used as a reference point. This is a Memphis area shoot. It just happens that we have to leave the city limits to get to the venue. Memphis Motorsports Park is in the Millington city limits. Complain about that. Its not uncommon to have an event named after the nearest big city. Bottom line...get over it.

Yep. My mom goes to Scenic Hills Baptist. I don't worry about her being there. The police station isn't far and there is a fire station within spitting distance.

Noone. Sure Frayser has some rough areas but i never saw it when I lived there. My neighbors were good people and we all watched out for each other. Same here in Raleigh.

I lived in Frayser until 99 and now I live in Raleigh. I have great neighbors and love where I live.

This made me laugh pretty hard! That reminds me of something I heard once. "Stay outside of the loop and you'll be fine." While not necessarily a rule to live by, its pretty close.

How many times were you robbed/raped/injured/attacked/murdered while you were here? I have lived here for 27 years of my 27 year long life. In that 27 years, I have been robbed twice. I left my car unlocked parked on the street and they took the radio. I left my car unlocked at the mall and they took my radio and my clarinet. Total in my lifetime, I have had less than 1500 dollars worth of items stolen from me and never been murdered. I think people's perception of Memphis is a little off sometimes.
