  1. Is it a subcompact? If not, then I think you posted in the wrong thread. Also, I don't know that anything can be much simpler to field strip than an XD. Definitely my opinion of the one that I owned.
  2. I owned the Sig P250 and wanted to sell it after the first shot. I gave it several boxes of ammo and several range trips but it never made a better impression on me. Its a garbage gun in my opinion. The XD is a great piece and you can't go wrong with it. I haven't any experience with the SR9. As always, go fondle and shoot and make your decision from there.
  3. Welcome from another Ruger fan. P89, Standard, and 10/22. But always on the hunt for more.
  4. Most certainly. But had nothing to do with Ninjas.
  5. We gotta hit the range together. I just watched the video linked below and I really really want one now.
  6. Kb, we need to get together so I can shoot yours!
  7. Ive been thinking about one of those. I really like the way they look.
  8. You made a claim and I pointed out that your claim was comparing apples to oranges. Sorry you can't deal with actual logic.
  9. Your 2 cents is an unfair comparison. Its like saying that you changed your oil and added a supercharger and now you have more power because of that oil change. If you want to make comparisons between the two, change ONLY the guide rod between tests.
  10. If we had a smaller group, we could do an MSSA shoot at some point. But! Its too dang gummed hot to even think about being out there right now. I haven't been in almost a month.
  11. Ill try to make the next one. This is a busy month for me with family coming in and out of town from all over the country for my family reunion.
  12. That was hilarious. When I saw ninja though, this is the first thing I thought of. haha
  13. I thought so. Just wanted to make sure. I WANT A BAR!!!!!!!!
  14. I dunno. But they can refuse to do anything with the body. I know that much. Then holding fees will start to pile up.
  15. Nope. But they pass it on to your next of kin.
  16. I'm not sure. I was under the impression that the only reason my brother and mother were going in the same hole was because he was just an infant.
  17. I've always told my friends and family to forego the mourning. Sell everything I own as quickly as possible. Use the money to fund the BEST PARTY EVER!!! and remember me that way!
  18. I don't remember anymore but it wasn't cheap. I think it was between 750 and 995. As for the Forest Hill thing, this is with a large national company that isn't likely going to be overtaken by anyone in that same manner. This is through Memorial Park on Poplar. My plot is right near the road, which is awesome cause my carcass will get to hear cars all day. I love cars. Funny thing is though, my dad's parents bought four plots there back in the 60's just across from the Grotto. They paid 400 for all four. I bought two plots in the cheapest part of the cemetary and mine were 2 grand each. Amazing how valuable that land became. My grandparents gave my parents two plots as a wedding gift. My parents had a child before I was born that didn't make it so he was already buried in one. He will be stacked on top of my mother. My father is right next to them and his parents are next to him. I wish I could have been closer to them but there were no available plots. Back to the money part, Dad's funeral ended up costing around around 10 grand and with my burial plots, mine is a little more at like 13. I bought two plots just in case I ever get married. And for the inflation statement, per the agreement I signed, they can't ask for more money. My funeral is SUPPOSED to be paid in full when I make the last payment or if I die.
  19. The WRT54G is hands down the best residential router ever made in my opinion. You can't beat it.
  20. Isn't it a standard 8th grade trip? They took us in 8th grade, my family took me the year before and in 97, I went to the BSA National Jamboree. We stopped in DC on the way and I am happy to say that I was old enough then to really appreciate what I was seeing.
  21. Are those BAR's up around the ceiling?
  22. For the record... When my dad passed, we were having him cremated. BUT, the funeral home requires that you be cremated IN a casket. So we had to buy a casket for the viewing/cremation. We bought the cheapest option that they had which was a purple carpeted cardboard box. A few weeks later, a guy from the funeral home came to my house so that I could plan my funeral and start paying for it. When picking out everything, I, too, chose a cardboard box to be burned in. Also, what does it say about me that I planned my funeral at age 25? I am still paying for it and will until sometime in 2015, but if I die, no more payments are necessary. Its like an insurance policy or something.
  23. Buy your own frangibles. FRANGIBLE Ammo : Ammunition To Go
  24. Crappy cell phone pics and I'm at work so no fancy backdrop.
  25. Anyone else have one of these? Great little knife that I can just drop in my pocket and forget about until I need it.
