  1. Or you just modify your guns to fit the cheap ammo. A VQ extractor and I can run anything in my 10/22 and Ruger Standard.
  2. They would if they were actively trying to spread the message. But as far as I'm concerned, you waive your rights to anal virginity, cable television, and humane treatment as a whole if you commit a violent act against another human being. I will never feel sorry for a criminal who gets treated poorly. Yes I take an extremist view regarding this but I know that I am not alone. There are other people that would say the same thing. Regarding the humor aspect, I have to say that being able to make light of situations and create laughter helps people deal with things. Some people can only deal with things this way. Personally, I deal with life through jokes. My dad passed away and I had the entire church at his funeral rolling in laughter. Noone came up to me after the fact and lectured me on the seriousness of the situation or anything like that. Everyone knew that was a way of coping and it helps other people too. Making jokes about something doesn't necessarily say anything negative about our society but instead says that we, as a people, have the ability to make light of serious things to help us deal with situations. On a side note, I think my stomach just ate itself out of hunger and I'm having an asthma attack. Asthma is serious business!
  3. Wheres the pics? Couple of options. (413) 642-4260 for Historical Information OR Mr. John T. Callahan, Savage Arms Historian 53 Old Quarry Road Westfield, MA 01085 $20.00 per gun research fee. Send serial number, allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Sorry, thats all that I could dig up in a quick search.
  4. I got my numbers from several online resources. My XDsc is in Florida and I don't have a Glock to weigh.
  5. Perhaps you should start the movement to end prison rape/prison rape jokes. It is clearly something that you are passionate about.
  6. I hate hippies! Just kidding. I love laughing at them. But that guy's refusal to wear shoes bothers me.
  7. They are expensive but they are the ONLY shop that I will let touch my vehicles. Christian Brother's Automotive on Summer at Whitten.
  8. I built mine to basic carbine specs. As I upgrade, I keep all of the parts around just in case. I do the same with car parts. When I get rid of the gun, or the car, I can just add all the parts to it and see if it brings me a few more bucks. If not, no big deal or I can part out if I want. I also change my mind alot. So keeping things makes it easier to change stuff around.
  9. Where do you people come up with this stuff? An XD9sc weighs in at 20.5 ounces. A G26 is 19.75 ounces. If you can tell the difference in three quarters of an ounce, then you might be a human scale. I have been into cars for a long time and this is the same as people that put an exhaust on their car (that maybe gave them an additional 3 hp) and say that they can "feel" the difference. I'm sorry but I refuse to believe that anyone can tell that insignificant of a weight difference. Sorry to come across like an ass.
  10. You and me both!
  11. You guys are really that afraid of snakes? Sad!
  12. First, I have to get two things out of the way. 1. Is he really wearing makeup? What a fairy! 2. Ed Norton is a much better white supremacist. (Great movie!) Now, on to your statements. I don't believe that anyone is making a case that people deserve to be raped (although I think rapists deserved to be raped with a salty razor blade filled tree trunk.). I think that we all know that butt rape is common in prison. We also know that if you break laws, you go to prison. Therefore, through the transitive property, if you break laws, you get butt raped. Is it a sad fact of society? Yes. Does it make me sad that a violent criminal is giving rides on the hershey highway? Nope. He waived his right for me to care about him and his well being when he committed whatever crime landed him in prison.
  13. Come on down. I've got family in Savannah (and Ramer, Eastview, Michie and just about everywhere else around there). My family reunion is this weekend in Eastview. It's not that bad of a drive and I know you'll enjoy yourself.
  14. More than you can afford pal, Fuch's. (fans of Fast & Furious will get it)
  15. RB Precision Evolution gen 2 gets my vote. Evolution Stock System generation Two
  16. Is it a subcompact? If not, then I think you posted in the wrong thread. Also, I don't know that anything can be much simpler to field strip than an XD. Definitely my opinion of the one that I owned.
  17. I owned the Sig P250 and wanted to sell it after the first shot. I gave it several boxes of ammo and several range trips but it never made a better impression on me. Its a garbage gun in my opinion. The XD is a great piece and you can't go wrong with it. I haven't any experience with the SR9. As always, go fondle and shoot and make your decision from there.
  18. Welcome from another Ruger fan. P89, Standard, and 10/22. But always on the hunt for more.
  19. Most certainly. But had nothing to do with Ninjas.
  20. We gotta hit the range together. I just watched the video linked below and I really really want one now.
  21. Kb, we need to get together so I can shoot yours!
  22. Ive been thinking about one of those. I really like the way they look.
  23. You made a claim and I pointed out that your claim was comparing apples to oranges. Sorry you can't deal with actual logic.
  24. Your 2 cents is an unfair comparison. Its like saying that you changed your oil and added a supercharger and now you have more power because of that oil change. If you want to make comparisons between the two, change ONLY the guide rod between tests.
  25. If we had a smaller group, we could do an MSSA shoot at some point. But! Its too dang gummed hot to even think about being out there right now. I haven't been in almost a month.
